E – 9 Lens Shift Adjustable Range Lens Shift Adjustable Range f or Desktop and Ceiling Mount Application The diagram belo w shows the location of the image position in the lens. The lens can be shifted within the shaded area as shown using the normal projection position as a star ting point.

E – 11 Connecting the Power Cable and T ur ning on the Projector Before y ou turn on your projector , ensure that the computer or video source is turned on and that your lens cap is remov ed. 1. Connect the supplied power cable to the projector . Plug the supplied power cable into the A C outlet.
E – 12 About Startup Screen (Menu Language Select screen) When you first turn on the projector , you will get the Startup screen. This screen gives y ou the oppor tunity to select one of the se ven men u languages: English, German, F rench, Italian, Spanish,Swedish and Japanese .

E – 14 Keystone Keystone distortion Normal Ke ystone is the distortion of a projected image that usually creates a wider top than bottom. Aiming a projector upw ard on a wall rather than straight at a wall creates this distortion. Use the 䊴 or 䊳 b uttons on the slide bar to correct this ke ystone (trapezoidal) distortion.

E – 19 When Used with T wo or More Switchers (100 Inputs) Up to 100 inputs can be accepted using the NEC ISS-6020 Switcher . How to make connections: 1. Connect the REMOTE 1 terminal of the master Switcher to the RE- MO TE 1 of the projector using the optional control cable (15p-15p/ CTL-6010).

E – 24 Using the RGB DIGIT AL connectors The Link mode function allows y ou to adjust or set multiple projectors using the RGB DIGIT AL and OPTION connectors. The D VI DIGIT AL input accepts up to the SXGA (1280 x 1024 @75Hz) signal in Link mode. NOTE: The Auto Adjust feature does not work for DVI digital signal.

E – 34 Color Matrix First, select an appropriate color matrix for your input signal, either HDTV or SDTV . Then select an appropriate matr ix type from B-Y/R- Y , Cb/Cr, Pb/Pr or IVX. NOTE: The Color Matrix feature is available for component video signal only .
