6 Safety General: • Read and keep the directions for use! • Installation of water , drainage and elec- tricity must be carried out by a qualified professional. • Do not use the dishwasher for any pur- poses other than those stated in these directions for use.
7 Child-safe dishwashing • Use the knife box or knife stand for all long/ sharp items. • Alwa ys close the door and star t the program immediately once dishwasher detergent has been added. • K eep children awa y from the dishwasher when it is open.

11 Basic Course Below are step by step instructions to help you achieve the best possible dishwashing results. Load the baskets correctly! Y our dishwasher has a Super Clean- ing System™, which means that there is no need to rinse the dishes before washing.
12 NB! Only use dishwasher detergent Detergent for washing by hand cannot be used as the build-up of foam impedes the machine’ s perf or mance. Press the P ower main switch and close the door Select program Select a program by pressing the program button one or more times until the required program symbol lights up .
13 Options Select options T o select an option, press one of the option buttons. High temperature With the temperature option button you can select the wash temperature .
14 Press start The dishwasher will no w star t. It manages the entire wash automatically . Close the door properly , or the machine will not star t. Changing options If you want to change program after having star ted the machine, press the Star t/Stop b utton f or three seconds.
15 Eco-dishwashing Only wash with a full load W aiting to run the wash until the machine is full sav es energy . W ash at a lower temperature If the load is only lightly soiled, you can lower the temper ature: in Delicate W ash to 40°C and Quick Wash to 30°C .
16 Fragile dishes A number of household goods are not suit- able f or machine washing. There can be many reasons f or this. Cer tain mater ials cannot withstand intense heat, others can be damaged by the dishwasher detergent. Fragile decoration China with decoration on top of the glaze (the ar ticle has a rough feel) should not be machine washed.

19 When you have selected a program, the display shows the length of time the pro- gram took the last time it w as used. When you ha ve star ted the machine, the displa y window shows an approximate duration.
20 Cleaning Cleaning The dishwasher’ s inner container is made of stainless steel and is kept clean through nor mal use. Howe ver , if you ha v e calcif erous (hard) water , lime deposits can form in the dishwasher . In this case, r un a nor mal wash program with two tablespoons of citric acid in the dishwasher detergent compar tment.
21 If you still cannot start the machine and a humming noise can be heard, then the overfilling protection has been activated. • Shutoff the water • Remove the plug from the wall socket • Call Service . CA UTION! Do not forget to replace the pump plug.
22 Rinse aid P our in rinse aid Rinse aid, helps quicker the drying process. When the rinse aid runs out, the rinse aid symbol lights up on the panel.* Cer tain machines do not hav e this function. There is a refill indicator in the middle of the dispenser (see picture).
23 Salt P our in salt Before using a dishwasher with a water softening filter , you must fill the salt com- par tment with salt. Use coarse salt or spe- cial salt for dishwashers. It is best to fill with salt when you are about to do a wash, as the dishwasher needs to be rinsed out immediately after filling.
24 Settings Reprogramming Some of the machine’ s functions can be reprogramd. Y ou get into the machine’ s change program using the machine’ s ordinar y buttons as per the instructions below . The selection will be retained until the next time you reset this function.
25 Setting water hardness If you ha v e a dishwasher with a w ater softener , you ma y need to change the setting, de- pending on the hardness lev el of the water . Phone y our local Water Board to chec k the water hardness in your area. The dishwasher is set f or low water hardness on deliv ery .

The machine will not start. • Cer tain food remnants such as mustard, mayon- naise, lemon, vinegar , salt and dressings can cause stains on stainless steel if allowed to remain for any length of time.

31 Suggestions for positioning the dishwasher The dishwasher can be built in, fully free- standing or semi-freestanding. CA UTION! Connection to electricity , water and drain- age must be carried out by a suitably quali- fied person. A. Built-in The dishwasher can be built in under a worktop with a working height of 820 - 87 0 mm.
32 Connection to water There must be a shut-off tap on the water supply pipe. The shut-off tap should be positioned above the work surface or at the front of the sink unit. The water supply pipe has a connection with a 1/2” or 3/4” internal thread depending on countr y .
33 P ositioning the machine A. Adjusting machines with 6 feet (freestanding dishwasher) 1. Adjust the height of the dishwasher with the four steel feet. 2. Lock the feet with the nuts. NB! The dishwasher must not be allow ed to lean more than 5 mm. 3.
34 T o prev ent kinks, pull the drain hose and the connecting pipe. Adjusting the plinth (Only with kick-plate as accessory) The dishwasher has two kick-plates (some models). The taller one should be used if the machine is to be 850 - 870 mm high and the plinth depth can be v aried between 45 - 105 mm.
