When lo ading ribbon, you install the supply and take-up rolls, then tig hten the ribbon on the carriage.

Pape r and liner dust can accumulate without ef fecting print operatio ns. Contamin ates on the platen roller ca n damage the print head or cause the media to slip when pr inting.
