If your snow thrower has a 2-W ay or 4 -Way crank st yle, you may store th em in your snow thrower’s dash panel u ntil need ed.

Se r vice 7 25 Belt Replac ement Auger Belt T o rem ove and replace your snow thrower ’ s auge r belt, p roceed as follows: 1. Allow the eng ine to run until it is out of f uel. Do n ot attem pt to pour fu el from th e engine. 2. Remove the p lastic be lt cover on the front of the e ngine by removing t he two s elf-tappi ng screws.

28 S ectio n 7 — S ervice 5. Care fully rem ove the hex nut whi ch secures the h ex shaf t to the snow thrower fr ame and lightly t ap the shaf t ’s end to dislodg e the ball b earing fro m the right side of th e frame. See Figure 7-9. NOT E: Be care ful not to damag e the threads on th e shaf t.
