Get Started 7 1 Watch TV Surf for programs and watch TV . It’ s only a few clicks away . Press the Moxi button on the remote to launch the Mo xi Menu and electronic program guide. Use the Arrow buttons to surf the Channels category on the Moxi Menu.
Get Started 8 Control live TV Control live TV with the touch of your fingertip. Press Pause to pause the live pr ogram you are watching. Press Fwd up to three times (thr ee speeds) to fast forward rec orded shows. Press Rew up to three times (three speeds) to r ewind shows.

Functions of the Moxi remote The Moxi remote operates the Moxi 3012, and—once programmed— will simultaneously control the power , volume, and mute functions of your TV or audio receiver , depending on the number of devi ces you pro gram.

Use the Moxi Menu 20 Look here for detailed information about how to use all the fun fea - tures provided by the Moxi Menu. Navigate the Moxi Menu The Moxi Menu filters TV programs and featur es into categories such as Channels, Movies, Sports, Kids , and mor e.
Use the Moxi Menu 21 3 Use the right arrow to highlig ht the menu, and then press OK to select the time. Alternatively , change the time slot by using the remote (see the fol - lowing figure). Sear ching by titl e or keywor d 1. In the Moxi Menu, scroll to the Find & Record category .
Use the Moxi Menu 22 Searching by category Search by category organizes shows scheduled in the next 24 hours into filters such as movies, children, sports, and so on. All categories include car ds, such as Mor e Movies that display addition al matches for the next two weeks.
Use the Moxi Menu 23 3 Use the Moxi Flip Bar While watching full-screen TV , the Mo xi Flip Bar dis plays anytime you press the arrow keys, the OK button, or enter a channel number . The flip bar pr ovides many of the same functions as the Channels car d in the Moxi Menu (see the following figure).
Use the Moxi Menu 24 • Playing state of the program (rewind, fast-forward, pause, play , or recor ding) When you start watching a sh ow , the Moxi 3012 b egins storing it in temporary memory . Th e amount of temporary memory varies, but is never less than 30 minutes (10 minutes for HDTV).
Use the Moxi Menu 25 3 Underst anding the r ec or ding icons Program card icons appear in the up per right of a show’ s card in the Moxi Menu and let you kn ow the status of a recorded show or sched - uled recor ding (see th e following figur e).
Use the Moxi Menu 26 Recor ding options T o chan ge recording options, when the scheduled show is in center focus, press OK , and then choose recor ding options from the options list. The menu summarizes the current options, which you can then modify (see the following figur e).

Get Connected 53 6 V entilation r equirements T o prevent overheating, allow ad equate ventilation and airflow around the Moxi. The Moxi 3012 requires at least a two-inch (5 cm) clearance on top and all sides with airflow to the rear .
