USER’S MANU AL MITSUBISHI HEA VY INDUSTRIES L TD . P A CKA GED AIR CONDITIONER PSA012B722 This air conditioner complies with EMC Directive 89/336/EEC, 91/263/EEC, 92/31/EEC, 93/68/EEC , 2004/108/EC, L V Direc- tive 2006/95/EC. CE marking is applicable to the area of 50 Hz power supply .
1 If the unit has been submerged under water due to a natural disaster such as flood or typhoon, consult y our dealer before using it again. If you use it as it stands, it ma y lead to failure, electric shock or fire. If any abnormal symptom (scorched fla vor etc.
2 Do not touch the aluminum fin. Otherwise it may lead to injuries. Do not clean the inside of the indoor unit by y ourself. Make sure to consult your dealer or user inquiry counter specified by our company . If you select incorrect detergent or improper method, resin parts may be damaged and lead to water leakage.
3 HOW TO PERFORM THE TIMER OPERA TION < WIRED REMOTE CONTROL > 1 Press TIMER button. It enters the timer mode. “Current day of the week” and “Current time ” are displa yed. [EXAMPLE] Monday : 10 o’clock in the morning Display area : [ ] [ ] [ ] (lit) 2 Press ▲ or ▼ button.

6 • If you select a day of the w eek for which setting have already been made , all the timer numbers that have been set are displa yed. And the details of the timer setting for the number which has “ ◄ ” mark is displayed. Y ou can modify the selected setting by ov erwriting it.
7 J Weekl y timer Checking 1 In the Weekly timer mode, select and set “ ”. ☞ See “Selecting Weekly timer setting” step 1 to 5 on page 5. The display shows the detailed timer operation setting information of the smallest timer operation number on the day of the week as showm on the left.
8 HOW TO OPERA TE IN SILENT MODE < WIRED REMOTE CONTROL > 1 In the timer mode, set the current da y of the week and current time. ☞ See page 4 step 1 to 7 2 Press SET button for three seconds or more. The remote control goes into silent mode setting and the following is displayed.

10 7 Press SET button (Fixing of the upper limit position) The upper limit position is fixed and the setting position is displayed f or two seconds. Then proceed to lower limit position selection display .

12 ON – TIMER OPERA TION < WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL > 1 Press ON timer button. ON timer display blinks . 2 Press or button to adjust to AM 8:00. Displayed time will be changed b y 10 minutes by pressing the buttons. 3 Press ON timer button. • ON timer display changes from b linking to steady lighting and the setting is completed.

14 HOW TO MAINT AIN How to clean the Air Filter Clean the filter frequently for economical operation. Caution Before cleaning, stop the operation and turn off the po wer supply . Otherwise, it may lead to injury as fan inside rotates at high speed. Caution The stepladder used for removing and attaching the air filter must be fix ed firmly .
15 TROUBLE SHOOTING Check the following items bef ore requiring service. THE UNIT DOES NOT WORK A T ALL Is the power supply switch turned off? Is there a blackout or is the fuse blown? Is the leakage breaker activated? Dangerous. Immediately turn off the power supply switch, and contact your dealer .
