EN-8 Remote control Battery installatio n Use two AA (R6) siz e batteries. 1. Remov e the back cov er of the remote contr ol by pushing the battery compartment door in the direction of the arrow . 2. Load the batteries making sure that the y are positioned correctly (+ to +, and - to -) .

EN-11 ENGLISH Projector + Computer For computer with Mini D-SUB Importan t: • When you use a longer RGB cable instead of the pro vided cable , the image may not be pro jected correctly . • Some computers requir e additional connectors o r analog RGB output adapters to be connected with this projector .
EN-12 Preparat ion Preparation f or projection 1. Attach the prov ided power cord to the projector . 2. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet. 3. Remov e the lens cap. Wa rn i n g : • Do not look into the lens directly when the proj ector is on. • The lens cap is f or protecting the lens .

EN-14 Basic operation (continued) Po w e r- o f f Use the fo llowing procedure to turn off the projector . 1. Press the PO WER button o n the control panel or the OFF button on the remote con trol. • The message "PO WER OFF? YES : PRESS AGAIN" appears on the screen.

EN-18 Image adjustment Image adjustmen t Y ou can adjust the image using the IMAGE men u. T o control the white-to-black le vel of the image : Adjust CONTRAST in the IMA GE menu. Press the X b utton to increase the contr ast and the W button to reduce it.
EN-19 ENGLISH Adjustment of the ima ge from the compu ter This projector adjusts the f or mat of the video si gnal supplied from the computer . Howev er, sometimes imag es are not projected correctly owing to the type of the computer used. When the image from the computer isn’t projecte d correctly , press the A UTO POS ITION button.
EN-20 Advanced feature Still T o stop the motion in the image temporarily (or to displa y a still image): Press the STILL b utton on the remote contr ol. • The image will free ze temporarily . T o resume the motion in the imag e: Press any b utton on the remote contr ol.
EN-21 ENGLISH P assw ord funct ion This projector is equipped with the pass word function that is designed f or pre vention of wrong oper ation by children and restrictio n on operation by other t han specified users . MENU ACCESS ............All the buttons except for the POWER b utton on the projector are disa bled.
EN-22 Lamp replacement When the lamp n o longer functions , replace it with a ne w one. Caution: • Do not remov e the lamp immediately after using the projector . Y ou may get b urned because the lamp very hot after use. • Bef ore replacing the lamp , press the PO WER button to turn off the lamp and wait f or two minutes for lamp to cool do wn.

EN-25 ENGLISH Other s When the pr oblems belo w occur after th e lamp is replaced, c heck the f ollowing. Maintenanc e Wa rn i n g : Do not use flammable solvents (benzene , thinner , etc.) and flammable aerosols when cleaning the pro jector body and lens.
EN-26 Indicators This projector has two indicators , each of which shows t he operation condit ion of the projector . The follo wing offe r solutions to possible prob lems.
