A - 1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS (Always read these precautions before using this equ ipment.) Before using this product, please re ad this manual and the releva nt manuals introduced in this manu al carefully and pay full attention to safety to handle the product correctly .
A - 2 [Design Precautions] [Inst allation Precautions] WA R N I N G Do not write any data to the "System area" in the buf fer memory of the intelligent function module. As for signals outp ut from the programmab le contro ller CPU to t he intelligent function module, never output (ON) a "Use prohibited " signal.
A - 3 [Inst allation Precautions] [Wiring Precautions] CAUTION Completely turn off the externally supplied po wer used in t he system before mo unting or removing the module. Not doing so could result in damage to the product. T ighten the screw in the specified torque range.
A - 4 [Wiring Precautions] [S t art-up and Maintenance Precautions] CAUTION Be sure there are no foreign substances such as sawdust or wiring debris inside the module.
A - 5 [Operation Precautions] [Disposal Precautions] [T ransport ation Precautions] W ARNING Make sure safety before contr olling a running pr ogrammable controller (e.g. data modification). Do not write any data to the "System ar ea" in t he buffer memory of the intellige nt function module.
