® Page 5 www .midlandradio.com MENU SCAN CONTROLS LCD DISPLA Y 1. LOW BA TTER Y ICON – Indicates the battery level is low . 2. TRANSMIT (TX) ICON – Indicates radio is transmitting a signal. 3. CHANNEL NUMBER – Changes from 1~22 on GMRS/FRS band (1~10 on WX band).
® Page 6 www .midlandradio.com BA T TER Y INS T ALLA TION Y our LXT276/330/335 Series radio operates with either 4 AAA alkaline batteries or an optional NiMH battery pack. The belt clip should be removed (see below) to ease installation or removal of the batteries.
® Page 7 www .midlandradio.com CHAR GING THE OPTIONAL BA T TER Y P A CK Y our LXT276/330/335 Series is equipped for using an optional rechargeable NiMH battery pack which can be recharged by inserting the AC adapter into the radio charge jack, or with optional desktop charger (as described below).
PO WER ON/OFF AND V OLUME Press the POWER/MENU button for at least 3 seconds to turn the radio on/of f. During Power On, the radio will beep 3 times with dif ferent tones, the LCD will display all icons for 1 second and the LCD display will indicate the last channel selected.
® Page 9 www .midlandradio.com LXT27 6/330/335 SERIES QUICK REFERENCE CHAR T SCAN Y our LXT276/330/335 Series can scan all 22 channels for activity . T o enter , quickly press the SCAN button. Repeat the same procedure to exit. Y our radio will rapidly scan each of the 22 channels and stop on any active channel for 4 seconds before resuming scan.
