Repeat Playback Shuffle Playback Repeat Play back: repeat plays the curr ent f ile. Shuffle Repeat: r andomly play all f iles in the current folder .

18 Using the AV Playback Function DVD Subtitle Select the language for t he default s ubtitle when pla ying a DVD mo vie. If “OFF” is selected, the subtitle wi ll not be displaye d when play bac k. Audio Setup This sub-menu can be set only after th e playbac k is stopped.
19 Using the AV Playback Function Video Setup This sub-men u can be set on ly after the playbac k is stopped. TV Standard MULTI : According to the TV , outp uts the corr esponding signal . NTSC : Outputs NTSC signal to TV . PAL : Outputs PAL signal to TV .
20 Using the AV Playback Function Preferences Setup Screen Saver ON : When the player stops for 5 minutes, th e screen saver w ill start automatically . OFF : Disables the screen saver . Angle Mark When playing a multi angle DVD movie, a mark will be displa yed on scr een.
PC Operation The installa tion CD con tains the devi ce driver , utility program and the user ’s manual. The utility prog ram allows you to set the fold ers in Mobi le Video HD D as “Private” or “Pub lic” .
22 PC Operation Connecting to PC Connecting with USB 2.0 Interface 1. Connect the plug of AC adapter to the connect or marked “DC IN” , plug the other end into the electrical outlet. 2. Connect the USB p lug to the USB connector . T hen connect the o ther plug to comp uter’s USB 2.

24 PC Operation About the File System of Hard Disk The Mobile Video HD D is pr e-format ted as a NTFS or F A T32 disk, you can dir e ctly access this drive after connected to PC.
PC Operation Copying Media Files for Playback When used as an external hard disk, the Mobi le Video HDD ca n store any type of f iles. When used as a media pl ayer , it can only browse and pla yback the speci f ic media f ile formats. Please read the f ollowing before using i t as a media play er .
26 PC Operation DivX / Xvid Files Usually , these m edia f iles ca n be download ed from the Int ernet. Mo st of this k ind of f ile s are distri buted with mo vie f ile and subtitl e f ile separ ately .

28 PC Operation Using the Utility Program The name of the util ity program is “Private F older Setup ” , it allow s you to set the spe cif ic fol ders in Mobile Video HDD as “Priv ate Folders” , and these folders w ill not be dis played on TV when using the AV playback function.

(Data can only be writt en to the drive aft er the drive is partitioned and fo rmatted). T o partition t h e Mobile Video HDD, you must execute FDISK under the MS-DOS mode.
