8 Switch action CA UTION: • Bef ore plugging in the tool, always chec k to see that the s witch tr igger actuates properly and retur ns to the “ OFF ” position when released. For tool with lock b utton T o star t the tool, simply pull the switch trigger .
9 T o install the blade, f ollow the remov al procedure in rev erse. BE SURE T O TIGHTEN THE HEX BOL T CLOCKWISE SECUREL Y . CA UTION: • The inner flange has a 20 mm diameter on one side and a 19 mm diameter on the other . The side with 19 mm diameter is marked by “ 19 ” .
10 OPERA TION CA UTION: • Be sure to mov e the tool forw ard in a straight line gently . F orcing or twisting the tool will result in overheating the motor and dangerous kickbac k, possibly causing se vere injur y . Hold the tool firmly . Set the base plate on the workpiece to be cut without the blade making an y contact.
11 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes , inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps.
