WINDOWS SUMMARY All of thewindow groups used bytheX- 55 are shown on the following pages. To view these groups, simply press the WINDOWS key, then repeated press the down arrow key.
POWER CONNECTIONS The X-55 works from a twelve-volt battery system. For the best results, attach the power cable directly to the battery. You can attach the power cable to an accessory or power buss, however you may have problems with electrical interference.
3. The water may be deeper than the sonar's ability to find the bottom. If the sonar can't find the bottom signal while it's in the automatic mode, the digital will flash continuously. It may change the range to limits far greater than the water you are in.

TRANSDUCER CONE ANGLES The sound waves from the transducer spread out into the water in a cone shaped beam. This looks much like the beam from aflashlight. The angle between the outside edges of the cone is the cone angle. Lowrance offers a choice of transducers with either an 8 or2O degree cone angle.
