• Close the drain valve by pushing in and twisting clockwise. Replace the cap. • Re-fill the crankcase to the upper limit mark on the dipstick with the recommended oil (see engine oper- ation manual OR engine service items decal OR below). Replace and tighten the oil filler cap secure- ly.
$ %+%% -%+S & # # +)% • Drain the oil. • Remove the oil filter with an oil filter wrench and drain the oil into a suitable container. Discard the used filter.
$ %+%% -%+S Unfasten or unlatch the service cover. Because the filter fits tightly over the outlet tube to create the critical seal, there will be some initial resistance, similar to breaking the seal on a jar.
