Access Camera For initial access to the network S peed Dome Camera, u sers can sea rch the camera th rough the installer program : DeviceSearch.exe, which can be found in “Device Search” folder in the supplied CD. Device Search Software Setup Step 1: Double click on the p rogram Device Search.

19 7 .1 Home Page Click on the t ab < Ho me > to access the Home Pa ge. There a re several f unction buttons on the Home pate. De tailed information of each item is as described in the following chapter .

24 Sync with NTP Server Network Ti me Protocol (NTP) is an alternate way to synchronize your camera ’ s clock with a N T P se rver . Please specify t he server you wish to synchronize in the enter field. Then select an update interval f rom the drop-down menu.
25 I/O access This item supports fu ndament al fun ctions that enable users to view video when accessing to the camera. Camera control This item allows the appointed User to change camera parameters o n the Camera Setting page.
26 7.2.2.2 HTTPS The HTTPS setting can be found under this p a th: S y stem> S ecurity> HT TP S . <HTTPS> allows se cure con nections be tween th e IP Camera and web browser using <Secure Socke t Layer (SSL)> or <T ransport Layer Secu rity (TLS)>, which ensure camera settings or Username/ Password info from snooping.

28 7.2.2.3 IP Filter The IP Filter setting can be found under this p a th: Sy stem> Security> IP Filte r . Using the IP filter , access to the IP Cam era can be restricted by denying/allowing specific IP a ddresses. Enable IP Fi lte r Check the box to enable the IP Filter fu nction.
29 Add/ Delete IP A ddress Input the IP address and click on the <Add> button to add a new filtered address. The Filtered IP Addresses list box shows the currently configured IP addresses. Up to 256 IP address entries may be specified. To remove an IP address from the list, p lease select the IP and then click the <Delete> button.

32 This is necessary for netw ork identification. Subnet mask It is used to determine if the de stination is in the same subnet. The default value is “255.255.255.0”. Default gateway This is the gateway used to forward frames to destinations in di fferent subnet.
33 A dvanced W eb Se rver port The default web server port is 80. Once the po rt is changed, the user must be notified the change for the connection to be successful. For instance, when the Administrator changes the HTTP port of the IP Camera whose IP address is 192.
34 7.2.3.2 QoS The QoS (Quality of Service) setting can be f ound u nder this pa th: System> Netw ork> QoS . QoS allows providing di f f erentiated service levels for di fferent typ es of traf fic packets, which guarantees delivery of priority se rvices especially when network congestion occurs.
35 7.2.3.3 SNMP The SN MP (Simple Network Management P rotocol) setting can be found under this path: System> Network > SNMP . W ith Simple Network Management Pr otocol (SNMP) support, the IP Camera can be monitored and managed remotely by the network mana gement syste m.
36 T rap Option Warm S tart A W arm Start SNMP tr ap signifies that the SN MP dev ic e, i.e. IP C amera, performs software reload. Click on <Save> button when complete. 7.2.3.4 UPnP The UPnP setting can be found under this path: Sy stem> Netw ork> UPnP .
37 7 .2.4 DDNS The DDNS setting can be found under this path: Sy st em> D DNS . Dynamic Domain Na me System (DDNS) allows a ho st n ame to be consta nt ly synchroniz ed with a d ynam ic IP address. In other words, it allo ws those using a dynamic IP addr ess to be associated to a static domain name so others can connect to it by name.
38 7 .2.5 Mail The Mail setting can be found under this path: Sy s tem> Ma il . The Administrator can send an e-m ail via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) when an alarm is triggered. SMTP is a p rotocol for sending e-mail messages between servers.
39 7 .2.7 HTTP The HT TP setting can be found under this p ath: Sy stem> HTTP . A HT TP Noti fication server can li sten for notification messages from IP C ameras by trigg ered events. Enter the HT T P de tails, w hich include server name (for instance, http://192.
40 7 .2.8 Application ( A larm Setti ngs) The Application setting can be found under this path: System> Application . The Camera equips four alarm inputs and two relay ou t pu ts for cooperating with alarm system to catch event s’ images. Please refer to User ’ s Manual for Alarm Pin Definition to connect the alarm devices.
41 Upload Image by E-Mail Select this item and the A dministrator can assign an e-m ail address and configure various parameters. W hen the alarm is triggered, event images will be sent to the appointed e-mail address. NOTE: Make sure SMTP or FTP configuration has been completed.
42 Record S tream to SD Card Select the item and the alarm-triggered recording will be saved into your Micro SD card. Pre-trigger buffer recording function allows users to check what happened to cause the trigger. The p re-trigger buffer time range is from 1 to 3 seconds.

65 7 .4.2 Cruise The Cruise Programming can be found under this path: PTZ> Cruise . The IP Camera supports up to eight Cruise Paths. Please fo llow the instructions below for Cruise Path setup. Cruise Setting T o setup a Cruise P ath, please first select a p ath number f rom the drop-down list.
66 Cruise Run Select the specified Cruise Path f rom the d rop-down list, click on the <Run> button, and then the camera will start touring around as recorded. T o view the camera touring around in full screen mode, please mo ve the cursor onto the live view p ane, right-click and left-click to s elect “fu l lscr e en”.
