IP CamSecure Installation IP CamSecure Inst allation Run Setup.exe from the CD-ROM root directory and f ollow the onscreen instruction to complete installation. IP CamSecure Main Console Exit : Shut down the main console or log out current u ser . Minimize : Minimize the Main Console. Screen Division : Alloca te the sub-screen displays of cameras by clicking on the icon of d esired layout. Quick switch to single cam era display by double click the particular sub-screen.
IP CamSecure Main Console 8 On Screen Menu : Right click on the camera screen and get the On Screen Menu from which you can Enable Move and T alk, and Connect / Disconne ct the camera. Enable Move : By selecting the en able move function, you may adjust the camera’s view b y clicking and dragging on the display screen.

IP CamSecure Playback 20 Unusual Event - Missing Object / Lose Focus / Camera Occlusion Sensitivity : Click and move the contro l bar to the right to increase sensitivity , t hat is, a relatively small movement will trigger the ala rm. Move to the left to reduce the sensitivity of mo vement detection.
IP CamSecure Playback Enhancement General Setting : Check the circle and cho se w hethe r you want to apply the setting to all the channels or only to those currently show on the screen. Filter Setting Visibility : Check the box and adjust the gamma value of the image, which means, you may enhance the image and make it cleaner .
IP CamSecure Playback 22 Save Video / Save Image Save Video S tep 1: Choose the camera display you want to save as a video clip. S tep 2: Set up the Cue In and Cue Out points, the cue in and cue out time will show up on the display .

IP CamSecure Playback 24 Log Viewer *IP CamSecure Lite only ha s S y s tem Log option in Log Viewer . Unusual Event : Y ou can check out the history of Unusual Event that had been detected by Smart Guard System. Step1 : Choose the type of event you want to check or select “All” on the pull-down menu for all types of events.
IP CamSecure Playback Log Viewer System Log : Y ou can choose the Log T ype form the pull-down menu, including: Console S tartup, Console Shutdown, User Log in , User Logout , S tart Schedule, S top Schedule, Execute Recycle, Execute Backup, Enable Channel, Disable Channel, S tart Smart Guard.
IP CamSecure Playback 26 Log Viewer - Counting Application Counting A pplication : Y ou can see the results of Counting Application during the time period you set. Counting A pplication (Diagra m) : The Counting A pplication result data will show in a diagram.
IP CamSecure Playback Setting Dat aba se Source : Choose from which location you are going to withdra w the record, from the PC you are working with or to get the access a database via the Internet. See Config > Remote Playback Server in detail on later pages.
IP CamSecure 28 Schedule Click on Schedule icon on Main Console and get the Schedule conf iguration panel to setup the time schedule for video reco rding.
IP CamSecure Load Camera / Channel Day Mode Day Mode Schedule the cameras on a da ily basis, which means that the recorder will be on and off, at the same time every day , according to the same sche dule you setup. T o setup the time schedule for each camera, you may 1.
IP CamSecure 30 Minor Mode : The system will start recording only w he n a motio n on the screen is detected, 24 hours a day (shown as a green bar on S chedule Configuration panel), with the setting of 15 FPS, Low quality and Low resolution. Y ou can adjust the sensitivity , interval and detection area of motion detection in schedule Configure.
IP CamSecure Option 2 : Click the Configure icon or doub le click schedule information on the screen (highlighted in blue), to obtain the Encoding Options panel and change the setting as wished.
IP CamSecure 32 A lw ays Record: Select this option to reco rd the video at all time. Record on Event: Select this option to obta in the Select Event panel. From the Smart Guard/Digital Input list, che ck the box of the camera(s) that you want to t rigger the recording action.
IP CamSecure Week Mode : Schedule the cameras for each day of the week differently . Besides that, you ma y appoint extra holidays in Week Mode. Default : Follow the same process to setup the schedule for every day in a week. Holiday : Y ou may appoin t Holiday(s) on which the system will work as the setting of Sunday .
IP CamSecure 34 Guard *Guard is only in IP CamSecure Pro/Pro Plus. Click on the Guard bottom on the Main Console and start Event and Action Configuration panel. Y ou need to assign an event you want t o detect and then set up an action with which the system will react when the assigned event is detected.
IP CamSecure Event There are three sources of events: Camera (video image), Digital input (device that connected to you PC) and System (condition of your ha rdware). Y ou can assign multiple events by following the instruction below . A ssign a Ca mera event Step 1 : Choose a channel from cameras and click the Insert Event icon.

IP CamSecure Event - Foreign Object Hint : For example, if you want to pre vent somebody leaving a briefcase in a hallway , you may put a briefcase in the hallway where the camera is aimin g on.

IP CamSecure Event - Digit al Input Event Step 1 Step 2 Step 1 : Click and highlight Dig ital Input on the event type list and click Inset Event icon. Step 2 : Select the device that connected to your system, that is, the PC you are working. Basic Setting Enable Event : Check the box to activate.
IP CamSecure 50 Event - System Event Step 1 Step 2 Step 1 : Click and highlight System Event on the event type list and click Inset E vent icon. Step 2 : Select the Event T ype (Disk S pace Exhausted) and then click OK. Basic Setting : for Disk S pace Exhausted Enable Event : Check the box to activate.

IP CamSecure 52 A ction - A c tion T ype On Screen displa y : A red warning will be flashing on the screen of Main Conso le, indicating w h ich type of unusual event is de tected. Play Sound : Sound alarm warning. Choo se a Wave file (.wav) and the system will play the so und as alarm when an unusual e vent is detected.
IP CamSecure 53 Configuration Modify the setting and access count ing application, log viewer, backup, and network services. Click on the Config icon, se lect from the drop-down menu and open the Configuration panel.
IP CamSecure 54 Setting – General St a rtup Panel Resolution DDNS Service Automatically Popup Event Report Startup: Check the box and activate the fun ctions as the system starts. You may start/stop the function in Monitor panel on the Main Console.
IP CamSecure Setting – General Storage Location Automatic Recycle Keep Video Keep Event Log Keep S y s tem Log Keep Counting Log Storage Location : Assign the path and folder in which the system saves the files. Automatic Recycle: The system will automatically delete the oldest file when the storage spac e is low .
IP CamSecure 56 Setting – General St atus Display A udio Preview A udio Pre view : Assign the audio channel to preview and the sound volume. St a tus Displa y : Select which inform ation you want to show on the informat ion-display on Main Console.
IP CamSecure Setting - Camera Camera List Camera Name Goto Web Interface Camera Settings Video Parameter Camera List : The camera(s) connected to the system will show on the panel, click the name of the camera to adjust the setting. Camera Name : Name the camera for your convenience .
IP CamSecure 58 Setting - IP Camera S earch Search Search Search Delete Insert Config Search: Click on the Search icon to obtain the Search IP Camera panel. The system will start scanning automatically once the panel is opened; feel free to stop scann ing by clicking on the Stop Scan but ton.
IP CamSecure Setting - IP Camera IP/Video Server Setting p anel Net w ork Dev ic e Description Network: Fill up the Network field (including Name, IP Addre ss, Http Port, User Name, Password and Protocol) referring to t he instruction provided by the manufacturer .
IP CamSecure 60 Setting – IP Camera Camera List Camera Name Goto Web Interface Camera Settings Video Parameter Camera List: The camera(s) connected to the system will show on the panel, click the name of the camera to adjust the setting. Camera Name: Name the camera for your convenience.
IP CamSecure Setting - I/O Device Module Setting List of devices Input Monitor Output Monitor Module Setting: Name the module device and ID that has been connecting the digital input/output device(s) to your system. Device: This column displays the device(s) already installe d to the system.
IP CamSecure 62 Setting - PTZ Config Basic Setting A d vanced Setting Install the PTZ camera following the instruction of the manufacturer . The PTZ camera is usually connected to the PC with RS-485/RS-422. Check the box on the came ra list to activate the PTZ control function of a PTZ camera.
IP CamSecure Setting – Hotline *Hotline is only in IP CamSecure Pro/Pro Plus. Configure the settings of hotlin es, including E-mail and telephone calls, once an unusual event is detected. E-mail: Input the following inf ormation: server, sender’s E-mail address, E -mail’s subject title, and body content.
IP CamSecure 64 Setting - User A ccount User A c count : The administrator may manage the u ser accounts he re. From the list on the right, highlight each account and modify the privilege setting.
IP CamSecure Setting - Address Book *Address Book is only in IP CamSecure Pro/Pro Plus. A ddress Book : Manage the address book from which you want to give a call or E-mail when an unusual event is detected.
IP CamSecure 66 Setting Monitor Display Playback Option Camera s List A uto S can Layout Playback Option : Execute Playback on the secondary monitor by checking the box. Make su re to adjust the display setting of your comp uter in advance to avoid system error .
IP CamSecure Save/Load Configuration The Save/ Load Configuration function allows system users to save any specif ic setting as a cfg (config) file. You may save up se veral different cfg files at any time. Save Configuration: To save a specific setting, go to Config > Save/ Load Configuration > Save.

IP CamSecure Log Viewer - Counting Application Counting A pplication: Display the history of Countin g Application during a given time period. Step1: Select the channel you want t o check or select “All” from the drop-down menu for all channels. Step 2: You may view events happened on a particular date or during a given time p eriod.
IP CamSecure 72 Log Viewer - Counting Application (Diagram): Counting Application (Diagram): Display the Counting Application data in diagram format. Step1: Select the channel you want t o check or select “All” from the drop-down menu for all channels.
IP CamSecure Backup The backup function saves video record and oth er log information. User may open backup files on any PC with Windows Operation System and operate the full function Playback panel on it. Follow the instructions below to obta in backup files.
IP CamSecure 74 Backup Step 4 Step 6 Step 3: Select the data you want to backup by highlighting the time period. Be sides the time-table, you may also set up start time and end time in the Date Time Period section. IP CamSecure 78 Network Service There are 3 types of network services: live streamin g server, remote playback server, and 3GPP service. From the Main Console, go to Config > Network Service to obtain the Network Service pan el. *IP CamSecure Lite only ha s Live Streaming in Network Service.

IP CamSecure Port Maximum Users Save Log Options: You may only adjust the se tting when the server is stopped. Port: Assign a port for the clients to conne ct to your system to the network. Maximum Users: Numbe r of connections that are allowed to connect to the Remote Playback Server.

IP CamSecure 86 E-Map W ith E-Map, user can find out or track the actual location and alarm status easily and receive instant response when the e vent happens. The arrows and lightening icon on E-Map represent cameras and I/O devices and these icons will turn red once they are t riggered by alarms.

IP CamSecure Live Viewer 92 Click on the Setup icon to obtain the Setup panel Name the server Enter the server IP Enter the connecting port of the server Enter the user name and password Check the box.
IP CamSecure Live Viewer Setup Panel—Group You may put different cameras into the same group when utilizing the Live Streaming Server function. Step 1: Go to the Group tab of the L iveView Setting panel. Step 2: Log in to all the servers tha t contain the camera(s) you would like to put into the group(s).

IP CamSecure DBTools 96 DBT ools The DBTools : Export/impo rt database/files; export configurations and edit stora ge location. Step 1: Execute DBTools from program f iles.
IP CamSecure Export database Step 1: Select the database you want to export. Step 2: Select the destination you want to export. Step 3: Press “Export” to st art to export database. Import database Step 1: Select the database location you want to import.
IP CamSecure 98 Export configurations Step 1: Press “Export”. Step 2: Select the location you want to Export and type the name of the configurations.
IP CamSecure Edit storage location If you move the recorded videos to a new directory, to ensure the videos can still be recognized by the Playback system, you should change the original directory. Step 1: Select the original directory in the table. Step 2: Type the new path you want to save the recorded videos.
