1.1 System R equirements 1-2 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 PageScope W eb Connection for IC-401 is a de vice control utility progr am provided b y the HTTP server b uilt into the IC-401 (Image contro ller for KONICA MINOL T A C3 50). This utility can be used with a W eb browser as an interface for rem otely controlling IC-401.
1.2 Acce ss 1-3 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 1.2 Access PageScop e W eb Connection can be access ed directly from a W eb brow ser . 1. Start the W eb bro wser . 2. In the Address bar , enter the IP address of the image controller as s hown belo w .
1.3 Screen Configu ration 1-4 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 1.3 Screen Conf iguration The screen sho wn belo w is called the User Mode screen; all users can vie w this screen. By entering an appropriate pas sword in the “ Admin Password ” box on the U ser Mode screen, you can ent er the Admini strator Mode s creen.

1.4 User M ode 1-15 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 1.4.2 File T ab The [File] tab is used to manage the mailb oxes in the hard disk. Mailbo x This screen appears when you click the [Mailbox] menu on the [File] tab . It shows a list of mailboxes in the hard disk .

1.5 Adminis trator Mode 1-36 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 Init ialize This screen appears when you click the [Initialize] sub-men u under the [Maintenance] menu. Y ou can use the screen to initialize the image controller settings (reset to factory default set tings).
1.5 Administrator Mo de 1-37 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 1.5.2 File T ab The [File] tab is used to manage the mailb oxes in the hard disk. Mailbo x This screen appears when you click the [Mailbox] menu on the [File] tab . It shows a list of mailboxes in the hard disk .
1.5 Adminis trator Mode 1-38 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 Creatin g a Mailbox Click the [Create] b utton on the mailbox list s creen to sho w a screen used to create a mailbox. Up to 20 mailboxes can be created. Mailbox Name : Enter the mailbox name.

1.5 Administrator Mo de 1-45 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 LD AP Fun ction: Use this setting to turn LD AP search on or off. Domain Nam e: I nput the name of the domain to which the LD A P serv er be longs . LD AP Ser ver Name/IP A ddress: Input the LD AP server address.
1.5 Adminis trator Mode 1-46 Using Pa geScope W eb Connec tion Chapter 1 Search Timeout : Input a timeout v alue (secon ds) for LD AP communication. The initial default setting is 15 seconds. Max Hit o f number : Input a v alue that specifies the maximum number of hits that can be accepted for LD AP search results.

2.1 Over view 2-3 Using th e Scanner M ode Chapter 2 2.1.1 Scan t o E-mail • Sends the scanned image data as an attachment f ile to an e-mail. • Suitable for sending low-resolution data.
2.1 Overv iew 2-4 Using th e Scanner M ode Chapter 2 2.1.2 Scan t o FTP Server • Sends the scanned image data to a specif ied folder on the FTP serv er . • Suitabl e for sendi ng high-res olution data. • Requires a network en vironment with an FTP server .

2.1 Over view 2-7 Using th e Scanner M ode Chapter 2 Reception • Receiv es e-mails sent f rom a de vice that supp orts Internet F AX and prints out the d ata. • The follo wing image data can be recei ve d. TIFF format, 200 × 200 dp i/200 × 100 dpi, mono chrome, A4/Lette r size, and MH/MR/MMR compres sion.
