Printing the Help L ist The Help List gives you a listing of all commonly used functions to help you program your machine. • Press Menu, 6, 2, Start Setting the Mode T imer You can set how much time the ma chine takes after the last Copy or Scan to retur n to the Fax mode.
Changing Volume S ettings You can change the Ring , Beeper and Spe aker volume s to Low, Medium, High or Off. • Menu, 1, 3 • Press o r to choose • Press OK • Stop/Exit Storing One Touc.
Storing Speed Dial n umbers You can store your frequ ently used n umbers as Speed Dial numbers, so that when you dial y ou will only have t o press a few keys (Search/Spe ed Dial, the three-d igit number and Start). The machine can st ore 300 Speed Dial n umbers (001- 300).
Forwarding your Fa xes • Menu 2, 5, 1 • Press o r to choose Fax Forward • Press OK The LCD will ask y ou to enter the fax nu mber your wa nt your faxes to be forwarded to.
Paper Size When you change the siz e of paper in the tray, y ou will also need to change the s etting for paper siz e at the same ti me so your machine can fit th e document or an inc oming fax on the page.

Replacing the Drum Un it The machine uses a dru m unit to crea te print images on paper. The estimated dru m life is appr ox, 25,000 but can vary depending on factors such as tempera ture, humidity, type of paper and coverag e. If the LCD sho ws ‘Replace Parts Drum’, the drum unit is near the en d of its life.
