USE AND CARE OPD Hand Wheel LP (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) • LP gas is nontoxic, odorless and colorless when produced. For Y our Safety , LP gas has been given an odor (similar to rotten cabbage) so that it can be smelled. • LP gas is highly flammable and may ignite unexpectedly when mixed with air .
WARNING If “growing” bubbles appear do not use or move the LP tank. Contact an LP gas supplier or your fire department! LP T ank Exchange • Many retailers that sell grills offer you the option of replacing your empty LP tank through an exchange service.
6. T urn the coupling nut clockwise and tighten to a full stop. The regulator will seal on the back-check feature in the LP tank valve, resulting in some resistance. An additional one-half to three-quarters turn is required to complete the connection.

8 • 4642201 10 Burner Flame Check • Remove cooking grates and flame tamers. Light burners, rotate knobs from HI to LOW . Y ou should see a smaller flame in LOW position than seen on HI . Perform burner flame check on sideburner , also. Always check flame prior to each use.
4642201 10 • 9 Cleaning the Burner Assembly Follow these instructions to clean and/or replace parts of burner assembly or if you have trouble igniting grill. 1. T urn gas OFF at control knobs and LP cylinder . 2. Remove cooking grates and flame tamers.

1 Place bottom shelf end with cut out hole for LP cylinder between leg assembly with axle holes. Attach to right and left leg assemblies with (4) 1/4-20x1-1/2" screws and (4) 1/4-20 flange nuts. Tighten securely . Bottom Shelf to Legs 4642201 10 • 13 Qty .
2 Front Panel Attach front panel to grill cart with (6) #8-32x3/8” sheet metal screws. Make sure metal tabs are toward bottom . Hang tank exclusion wire onto front panel brackets; attach other ends to bottom shelf with (2) #8-32x3/8” sheet metal screws .
Wheels and Leg Extenders to Cart T urn cart assembly upside down. Insert axle rod through wheel, wheel spacer , legs and other wheel. Attach with (1) axle washer and hitch pin. Hammer leg extenders into right legs. Be sure to face “cone” side of wheel against leg.
Grill Head 5 Grill Head to Cart Stand cart upright. This step requires two people to lift and position grill head onto cart. Carefully lower the grill head onto the cart. Make sure the regulator hose is hanging outside the cart. Attach head to cart with (4) 1/4-20x1/2" screws.
Fascia, Right Side Shelf 7 Fascia, Right Side Shelf CAUTION: Fascia must be securely tightened to firebox to safely move grill. Attach fascia and side shelf to firebox with (3) #8-32x3/8" sheet metal screws .

10 Sideburner V alve, Sideburner , Sideburner Bezel, Control Knob Ignitor Wire, P osition valve behind fascia and line up holes (A) . Insert (1) of the #8-32x3/8” stainless steel screws , but do not fully tighten. Slip bezel under inserted screw and position as shown (A).
Grill Front Grill Back Lid removed for clarity sheet metal screws Qty . 2 #8-32x3/8" 11 Attach h over burners inside front of grill with (2) #8-32x3/8’ ’ sheet metal screws .
Heat Diffusers Place heat diffusers over burners by inserting tabs into slots in front of firebox. Opposite ends of heat diffusers rest on pins in back of firebox. Heat Diffuser Back of Firebox Pin Heat Diffuser Front of Firebox Cooking Grate and Swing Away Place cooking grates onto grate rests.
Grease Cup Clip Grease Cup Grease T ray LP T ank LP tank is sold separately . Use only with an OPD equipped LP tank. Fill and leak check before attaching to grill and regulator . Place LP tank into hole in bottom shelf with tank collar opening facing to side as shown.
4642201 10 • 23 EMERGENCIES: If a gas leak cannot be stopped, or a fire occurs due to gas leakage, call the fire department. Emergencies Problem Gas leaking from cracked/cut/burned hose. Gas leaking from LP cylinder . Gas leaking from LP cylinder valve.
