This is not a malfunction but you may lose some on-screen information The picture may roll up or down.

basic fea t ures 29 Notes on R ecor ding When using both the RF and SCART cables, you can switch between TV and VCR by pressing the TV/VCR button on the Remote Control. Display T ape Position/T ime Counter Press the OK button repeatedly to display the tape position and time counter on the TV screen.
