EN 7 SELECT POSITION 6 Press TV PROG. 5 / ∞ until an open position in which you want to store a channel appears, then press OK . STORE CHANNEL 7 If fine tuning is not necessary , simply press STORE . For fine tuning adjustment, press TV PROG. 5 / ∞ until the picture becomes clearer , then press STORE .

10 EN PLA YBACK Basic Playback The easiest, most basic operation possible with your video recorder is tape playback. Already-recorded signals on a video tape are read by your video recorder and displayed on your TV just like a TV programme.
EN 11 Playback Features High-Speed Search ACTIV A TE HIGH-SPEED SEARCH 1 Press FF for forward high-speed search, or REW for reverse high-speed search. ● For short searches, press and hold FF or REW for over 2 seconds. When released, normal playback resumes.

16 EN TIMER RECORDING Timer Pr ogramming Before performing the following steps: ● Insert a cassette with the safety tab in place. The recorder will come on automatically . ● T urn on the TV and select the VIDEO channel (or A V mode). ● Select the appropriate colour system by pressing the COLOUR SYSTEM button.
EN 17 ENTER CHANNEL POSITION 6 Press TV PROG. 5 / ∞ to select the channel you wish to record. SET T APE SPEED 7 Press SP/LP/EP to set the tape speed. ● For each additional programme, press PROG. and repeat steps 3 – 7 . RETURN TO NORMAL SCREEN 8 Press PROG.

22 EN TROUBLESHOOTING Before requesting service for a problem, use this chart and see if you can repair the trouble yourself.
