Assembly - 5 ASSEMBL Y Assembling Sno wblower 1. Raise the rear o f the snowbl ower and slide the lift handle (A) under the cha nnel brac ket (B). 2. Place spacer shims (C) inside t he rear of the mounting channel with the short end tow ard the front of the snowb low er and align holes.
Assembly - 6 ASSEMBL Y Assemble Dischar ge Chute to A ug er Housing 1. Loosen 3/8-Inch n ut and lock w asher (A) that holds chute control cab le assembly to the auger housing and mov e cab le down a wa y from anchor mounts.
Assembly - 7 ASSEMBL Y • If rotation difficulty continues use a scre wdriver to pry out carefully on all three of the chute clips to obtain a 1/ 16 to 1/8-Inch gap between base (L) and chute clips (M) or until chute rotates f reely .

Preparing V ehicle - 9 PREPARING V EHIC LE Install Mounting Angles 1. Assemble 1 /2-Inch standard nut (A) onto 1/2 x 2-Inch hex bolt (B) and run it down to the end of the tre ads. 2. Lock t he nut in place with two wrenches. 3. At the rear end of one mounting angle (C) inser t 1/2 x 2- Inch bolt into hole.

T emporarily la y adjustable end of clutch link rod on top of the left side mo unting angles un til you are ready to attach to the snowb lower . Install Reflective T ape Apply two reflectors (A) , one on each sid e of rear hitch p l a t ea n dam i n i m u mo f3 0 5m m( 1 2i n .
Installing - 11 INSTALLING Installi ng Place T ractor Over Snowb lower Frame 1. P ark machine saf ely . (See P arking Saf ely in the Saf ety Section). 2. Mov e the tractor mo wer lift handle to the r aised position. 3. P osition snow blow er directly in front of the tractor .
Installing - 12 INSTALLING 4. Mov e belt guide (E) and roll upper V -belt around t ractor engine drive p ulley (F). Attach Lower Mounting Frame to T ractor 1.
Installing - 13 INSTALLING Install Lift Handle 1. Slide the lift handle (A) o ve r the end of the lift bar (B) with the grip offset towar d the operator’ s position of the tractor . 2. Adjust lift height. Install Lift Assist Springs 1. Pull lift handle bac k to place snowb lower in the r aised position.

(See P arking Saf ely in the Saf ety Section). 2. Loosen chute contro l suppor t bolt (A) then remov e chute control support and chute control rod (B) as one assemb ly .
Removing - 15 REMO VING 8. Roll tractor f orw ard carefully until rear of upper mou nting frame (I) can be lo wered from 1/2 x 2-Inch bolts (J) in mounting angles . 9. Roll tractor backward off of the snowblower . 10.Remove both left hand and r ight h and mount ing angles (K) from tra ctor .

Operating - 18 OPERATING moving the snow deflector (A). T o increase distance snow is discharge d, pull down on snow deflector contro l handle (B) and lock in position.
Operating - 19 OPERATING used on rough surf aces, incre ase tension on lift assist spring by removing hair cotter pin and pulling se ver al links up through hole in spring anchor b rack et and replacing hair cotter pin. 3. Adjust chain and tog gles e venly .
Operating - 20 OPERATING 1. ST OP tractor . 2. Pull bac k on attachment clutch le ver (A) to DISENGAGE. 3. ST OP the engine. 4. LOCK the par k brake (B). 5. Remove the ke y (C). 6. W ait for auger to ST OP . 7. Low er snowb lower to t he ground. 8. Remo ve spark plug wires.

S e r v i c e-2 3 SERVICE Service Service Intervals Lubricants The f ollowing lubr icants are pr eferred: • Light Machine Oil (SAE30 API-S6) • General Purpose Grease • WD-40 or equal Lubricate Lift Bars Lubricate lift bars (A) with Light Machin e Oil (SAE30 APIS6).
S e r v i c e-2 4 SERVICE Lubricate A uger Lubricate auger bearings (A), auger tubes (B) , and discharge f an (C) with Gener al Pur pose Grease. Lubricate Dischar ge Chute Lubricate discharge chute (A) with WD-40 or e quivalent.
S e r v i c e-2 5 SERVICE 4. Chec k belt routing. Mak e sure that upper V -belt is routed INSIDE the clutch idler pulle y (A) and three belt gu ides (B). 5. Reassemb le snowblo wer to the tractor . Replacing Lower V -Belt NO TE: It is not necessary to remove the snowblo wer for t his procedure.

Storage - 28 STORAGE Storage Storing Snowb lower Remov e snowb low er from tractor . Clean the snowb lower with standard garden hose. Chec k V - belts, sno w auger chain, scraper b lade, an d skid shoes and replace if worn. Do not install new belts unti l you take sno wblo wer out of storage .
