15 QUICK INST A LL A TION 2.5 Wireless Securi t y Set t ings Enabling WEP or WP A encryption can prevent unauthorized access to your wireless network. Encryption: Select one of the ve options from the drop-down menu, then click “OK” to proceed to the screen of the selected option.
16 QUICK INST A LL A TION 2.5. 1 WEP When you select either a 64-bit or 128-bit WEP key , you need to enter WEP keys to encrypt data. Y ou can generate the key by yourself and enter it; you can also enter four WEP keys and select one of them as the default key .
