SMITH MA CHINE A SSEMBLY INSTRUCTION Tools Required for A ssembling the Machine: Tw o Adj ustable Wrenches and A llen Wrenches. NOTE: It is strongly recommended that tw o or more people assemble this machine to avoid possible inj ury. STEP 1 (See Diagram 1) A.
STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Do not tighten Nuts and Bolts until instructed to do so. B.) Attach the Left Upr ight Beam (#1) to the Left Rear Support (#5) and onto the left Base Frame (#3). C.) Secure it to the Base Frame w ith two M10 x 4” Allen Bol ts (#54), four Ø ¾” W ashers (#57), and tw o M10 Aircraft Nuts (#58).

STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Attach tw o Ø 2 3/8” x 2” Rubber Bumpers (#30) to the hol es on the Cross Brace ( #7). Insert the two R ear Short Guide R ods (#17) throug h the two Rubber Bumpers i nto the holes on Cross Brace.

STEP 4 (See Diagram 4 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach the 170” Upper C able (#25) to the openi ng on the Front U pper Frame (#14) . B.) Attach a Pulley (#33) to the opening . Secure it with one M10 x 4” Allen Bolt (#54) , two Ø ¾” W ashers (#57), and one M10 Air craft Nut (#58).
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach the 62” Lower Cable (#26) to the open bracket on the Cross Br ace (#7). Attach a Pulley (#33) to the bracket. Secur e it w ith one M10 x 1 ¾” Allen Bolt (#52) , two Ø ¾ ” W ashers (#57), one L- shaped Cable Retainer (#24), and one M 10 Aircraft Nut (#58).
STEP 6 (See Diagram 6) A.) Place the Lifting Sleeve ( #8) in betw een the two Safety Stop Frames (#18) . Align the holes. Insert the W eight Bar (#13) from outside of one Safety Stop Frame through the Lifting Sleev e to the other Safe ty Stop Frame on the other side.

BENCH A SSEMBLY INSTRUCTION STEP 1 (See Diagram 1) A.) Attach the Ben ch B ase Frame (#6) to the Re ar Stabilizer (#7). Secu re the side-ho le s with tw o M10 x 4” Car riag e Bolts (#41), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#31), and tw o M10 Aircr aft Nuts (#33).
STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Attach the M ain Seat Support (#1) to the Bench Base Frame (#6). Secur e it with three M10 x 4” Carri age Bolts ( #41), three Ø ¾” W ashers (#31), and three M10 Airc raft Nuts (#33). B.) Attach the Fr ont & Rear Seat Bracket ( #4 & #5) to Main Seat Suppor t.
STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Al ign the br acket on the Backrest Adjustment Support ( #8) in betw een the two Backr est Supports (#3). Secur e it w ith four M8 x 1 5/8” Allen Bolts ( #34), eig ht Ø 5/8” W ashers (#30), and four M8 Aircr aft Nuts (#32).
STEP 4 (See Diagram 4) A.) Attach the Backrest Board ( #13) to the Backrest Supports ( #3). Secure it w ith four M8 x 1 5/8” Allen Bol ts (#34) and four Ø 5/8” W ashers (#30). B.) Attach the Seat Pad (#12) to Fr ont & Rear Seat Bracket ( #4 & #5).
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5) A.) Attach the Leg Developer (#2) to Main Seat Support ( #1). Secure it w ith one M10 x 3 1/8” Allen Bolt ( #38), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#31), and one M10 Air craft Nut (#33). B.) Inser t two Foam Tubes (#10) half way through the hol es on Leg Dev eloper.
