8 Gettin g playback started 1. Pow er O N / OFF POWER ON Press  Play / Pau se  to tu rn on the power; the  MP3 log o  will be displayed on the LCD . POWER OFF Press and hold  Pla y/Pau se  over 5 second s to turn off the power; the graphic will disappear on the LCD.
9 4. Fast Track ing While the track is being played, press and hold  PREV  or  NEXT  fo r fast-fo rward or backward the track. 5. Sk ip / Return Tracking · Press  Next  to skip the curr ent track to the nex t one . · Press  Prev  to retur n to the previo u s tra ck.

12 3. CONTRAS T SETTING · Select  Contra st  in se tting list and press  MENU  to enter. · Press  NEXT  and  PREV  to adju st the con tra st level. 4. POWER SAVING · Select  Power Saving  in setting list. · Press  NEXT  and  PREV  to se lect the power saving time.
13 7.BACK LIGHT COLOR SETTING · Selec t  Ba cklight Color  in setting list. · Press  NEXT  or  PREV  to select the backlight color. · 7 backlight color will be sho wn on the LCD . · For  Random  Color selection, the player will change the back light color whe n any button is pressed.
14 Warning: T he era sed file(s) cannot be recovered in any condition. 5. M usic Mode · Select  MUSIC  icon with  PREV  or  NEXT  button. · Press  MEN U  to enter the selected mode. · Press  PREV  or  NEXT  for se lecting the tra ck.
15 Operatin g th e FM radio While playing in Music Mode, press  MENU  and se lect the  FM Radio  with  NEXT  or  PREV  . Press  MENU  to enter the Ra dio Mode. 1. FM Tuning Auto Scanning the w hole FM band. · Press  MENU  and se lect  Auto Scan  with  NEXT  or  PREV  .
16 · T o play a FM recorde d file, press and hold  MENU  back to Music Mode . · Press  NEXT  or  PREV  to select the saved FM file s in .wav format in the Music track. · Press  Pla y/Pau se  to play the se lected FM file. · When the memory is not enough,  Memory Full  will appear .
17 Operati ng with compu ter When conn ecting the player to your com puter,  Remov able Dr iver, (H:)  is shown on  My Computer  , It represe nts the flash memory of the player. Then, you can u pload, download and manage the file(s ) in the player by computer.
18 4. Read the following license agr eem ent carefully. If you agree, se lect  Yes  to continue. Otherwise, select  No  to exit. 5. Selec t  Next  to con tinu e the installa tion is C:Program Files Sigma T el MSCN, a directory will be created.
19 6. Click  Next  to continue. 7. Click  Finish  to continue. 3. Co mp uter Co nnection · Switch on the computer. · Switch off the player. · Connect the player and the com puter via USB cable · Press  Play / Pau se  to power on the player.
20 Caution: MP3 player must be POWE R OFF when connecting to com puter. Af ter finishing the USB cable conn ection, MP3 player can be POWER ON safe ly. 4. Disconnect fr om the computer When there is no data transmiss ion, you can unplug the player from the computer.
21 3. Click  OK  to con firm. 4. You c an remove the player from Window  s desktop after the dialogue appear. Note: T he circuitry of the player and the computer could be seriou sly damaged if the USB cable is unplugged not following the instruction under Windows ME / 20 00 / XP.
22 6. File Transferring · From  My Comput er  , select the mp3 files for copying. · High-light the file. · Right Click the mouse and select  Copy  .

Warning: Some memory space in Flash Memory is reserved for Firmwar e Upgrade Featu res. T heref ore, u sable mem ory sp ace will be less than 12 8MB/2 5 6MB, where applicable.
24 · Press  Show Details  to se e the Cu rrent and Upgraded Firmware Ve rsion · On Download Options, there are two selections : · Click the che ckbox for fo rmat the MP3 Player Flash Memo ry. ALL DAT A WILL BE ERASED. · Unclick the checkbox for download the Firmware only.
