11 ASSEMBLING Handle Pull up the handle in direction of the arrows. • Move lever (1) in direction of the arrow , tighten the bolts (2). With the handle in up-turned position, tighten the knobs (3). MONT AGE Griff Griff in Pfeilrichtung hochklappens.
12 T o Assemble and Attach Grass Catcher • Position chutes as shown and secure with fasteners sup- plied. • Put grass catcher frame into grass bag with beveled section on the bottom. • Slip vinyl bindings over frame. • Place the grass catcher handle onto the raised arms of the rear door .
13 T o Empty Grass Catcher • T o remove grass catcher , release en gine brake yoke to stop engine. • Lift up rear door and remove the grass catcher by the handle. • Do not drag the bag when emptying, it will cause unnecessary wear . 17 Drive • Forward drive is engaged (1) and disengaged (2) with the clutch bar at the top of the handle. • Select ground speed with gear shift lever (3).

19 Maintenance Always remove the spark plug lead before repair , cleaning or main te nance work. After 5 hours running time, tighten screws and nuts. Check the oil.
20 Annually (After end of season) Grinding and balancing the cutter blade. Remove the spark plug lead. Fitting and removing the blade require the use of protective gloves. Unscrew the cutter blade and deliver it to a service workshop for grinding and balancing.

22 Cleaning of air fi lter. Slacken the screw , remove the lid and remove the fi lter cartridge. Reinigung des Luftfi lters. Schrauben lösen, Deckel abnehmen und Filtereinsatz herausnehmen. Nettoyage du fi ltre à air. Desserez la vis, enlevez le capot et retirez la cartouche fi ltrante.
23 1 2 • Close mulcher door , tighten knob (1) securely . • Attach hose to fi tting (2). • T urn on water supply . • Start engine. • Stop engine when clean. • T urn off water supply . • Disconnect hose from fi tting (2). • Schließen Sie mulcher Tür , ziehen Sie Knopf (1) fest.
GENERAL INFORMA TION T ransport Remove spark plug lead. Empty the petrol tank. Before public trans port ing, engine oil and petrol must be removed.
