KEEP! 8” 3/8” C U T & S T R I P (not to scale) Remove the pr e-installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted. Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downr od.

F ailure to properly secur e all three assembly screws could result in the switch housing falling . Connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings .
www .HunterF an.com 1.888.830.1326 Within 3 minutes of rest oring power to the fan, press both the F an Off button and the High button f or at least 4 seconds. Y our fan will turn on low to indicate succ essful syncing. If it does not, turn off power to y our fan, wait 1 minute then try again.
