First, line up the tab on the bottom of the grill with the recess on the purif ier base and then push the top of the grill forward until it is closed. Refer to Figs. 6 and 7. NO TE: This unit will not operate unless the grill is in the correct position.
41781-01 8 Operation Filter Life Counter s The pre-filter and f ilter are critical to the proper operation of the air purifier . T o help you know when to change the f ilters, your Hunter Air Purifier has Filter Life Counters that will monitor the life of your filter .
9 41781-01 Operation Using the Ionizer Using the ionizer improv es the quality of air in the room. Neg ativ e ions are released into the air and positi vely char ged dust, smoke, and pollen particles are attracted to the ne gati ve ions. These particles settle out of the air and can be v acuumed up during normal cleaning.
41781-01 10 Air Purifier Maintenance Cleaning Y our Air Purifier Proper maintenance of your Hunter Air Purifier will help ensure years of trouble free service. F ollow these steps to properly maintain your air purifier: 1. Approximately e v ery 90 days, the outside of the unit should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
