T his power save mod e † turns the laser OFF after a confi gur ed period of non - use then tur ns the motor OFF after thirty - minute inter vals .

Eight settings are availabl e for the tone of t he beep (norma l , six alternate tones a nd no tone) plus t hree volume set tings.

Blink Pow er Save Mode: Blinks the laser OFF & ON after a conf igured per iod of non - use.
35 S CANNER O PERATION B EEPER O PTIONS AND B UTTO N F UNCTIONS Changing the Beeper Tone Beeper tones m a y be configured inc r ementall y usi n g the follo wing bar code. T he ne w tone will be hear d f ollowed by a s hort pause. Two more new t ones will be heard s i gnifying t he new setting has been stored in m emory.
36 S CANNER O PERATION S TARTU P When the scan ner first receives po wer the white LE D will flash, t he blue LED will tur n on and the scann er will beep on ce ( the white LED will remain on f or the duration of the beep ). The sc anner is now read y to scan.
