3 This section shows you how to setup and run the thermostat in 3 simple steps: STEP 1: Installing the Batteries Note: Please follow the instructions in this section only if the thermostat screen is blank (no symbols or digits are displayed). If the screen displays some infor mation move on to STEP 2: Setting the Date and Time.
4 5 STEP 2: Setting the Date and Time T o set the Date and Time: a. Move the slider switch to the D A TE position. ‘SET THE DA Y’ will be displayed on the screen and the day digits will be ashing. b. Use the or buttons to set the correct day . When either of these buttons are pressed ‘DA Y OK?’ will be displayed.
4 5 PROGR AMMING THE CM907 The Built-in Heating Program The built-in heating program has 6 temperature level changes per day that can be set between 3.00am and 2.50am the following day - allowing you to maintain the evening temperature after midnight.

6 7 PROGR AMMING THE CM907 i. T o exit the programming mode move the slider switch to the desired operating mode - A UTO , MAN or OFF . Note: T o run the adjusted program select the AUT O mode.
8 9 OPERA TING THE CM907 Choosing the Operating Mode The ther mostat can operate in three different modes: Automatic, Manual or Off. T o set the operating mode move the slider switch to the desired position. The screen indicates which mode is currently active by displaying A UTO , MAN or OFF .
8 9 OPERA TING THE CM907 • T emperature Override During normal operation ( AUT O mode) the programmed temperature can be adjusted manually by pressing the or buttons. The ‘target‘ temperature will be displayed and ash for 5 seconds – during this time the or buttons can be used to modify the set value.
1 0 1 1 OPERA TING THE CM907 • P ARTY Function The party function allows you to extend your heating program by a specied number of hours at a par ticular temperature before resuming with the normal temperature program.
1 0 1 1 OPERA TING THE CM907 • D A Y OFF FUNCTION The day off function allows you to temporarily run Sunday’ s heating program for as many days as you desire. This is useful when you have a day off during your normal week or will, unintentionally , be at home on a workday due to illness, etc.
1 2 1 3 FINE TUNING THE CM907 Changing the User P arameters The user mode allows you to modify some basic settings of the ther mostat to meet your personal preferences. Y ou can change the time display format (24hr or AM/PM), reset the heating pr ogram to the built-in settings and disable or enable the summer/ winter time change feature.

Now choose which one of the following parameters you would like to change: i) Change the time format ‘CLOCK SELECT’ should be displayed on the screen - press the or buttons to select the preferred time format (12=AM/PM format, 24=24hr format) and the display will ash, indicating a change has been made.
1 4 1 5 How do I change the batteries on the CM907 when they run out? The ther mostat constantly monitors the batter y power level, which typically last for about 2 years before needing replaced. When the power is running low a ashing symbol will be displayed on the screen.
