SETT ING THE CLO CK 33 SETTING THE CLOCK Set the clock accurately for proper automatic timer r ecording. W e suggest that y ou use a TV or radio station as y our time source. VCR Pow er must be on. Turn on the TV and set the TV channel to the same video output channel l ocated on the back of the VCR.

Please note that in the SLP mode max imum recording time, assuming the tape is started at the beginni ng, is 8 hours using T-160 (or 6 hours using T-120). SPECIAL FEATURES 66 SPECIA L FEA TURES Picture Search (SP/LP/SLP Mode) You may view a video tape at a hig h speed in either a forwar d or reverse di rection. This feature is useful in finding or skipping ov er a particular scene on a tape. In thi s mode, the sound will be muted.
SPECIAL FEATURES 67 Super High Speed Search (LP/SLP Mode) For Picture Sear ch in super high speed: 1) Press either F.FW D or REW button while the unit i s in the Play mode. 2) Release button. 3) Depress it again. The unit will now search in super high speed.
SPECIAL FEATURES 68 If you use the PAUSE button to freeze the pi cture during play back with tapes r ecorded in SLP mode, usually there w ill be video "noise" lines on the screen. This is normal, howev er, this VCR has a speci al feature that allows y ou to reposition or r educe the lines.
