8 PREP ARA TION Supplied Accessories When you unpac k the play er , please check to ensure the f ollowing accessories are supplied bef ore installation.
9 P ositioning the Play er in a V ehicle The pla yer can be positioned on the inside of the v ehicle windscreen using the supplied suction cup windscreen mount and mounting brac ket. Attach the mounting brac ket onto the suction cup windscreen mount. Ensure the mounting brac ket is secured onto the suction windscreen mount.
10 B ASIC OPERA TION Getting Star ted Press the P ower button f or a while to tur n on the pla yer . The T op Menu appears on the touch screen. Y ou can retur n to the T op Menu an y time by pressing the MENU b utton. Navigation Ta p on the T op Menu to enter navigation mode .
11 V olume Setting Rotate the v olume control knob to adjust the v olume. The speaker icon appears on the touch screen. Press the v olume control knob to mute the sound. The mute icon appears on the touch screen. Rotate or press the v olume control knob again to restore the sound.
12 Enter tainment Y ou can play the audio , video or picture fi les stored in SD or MMC memor y card. Inser t the SD or MMC memor y card to the card slot. T ap on the T op Menu to enter media pla yer mode . The SDMMC DISK f older will be displa yed. T ap SDMMC DISK f older to open it.
13 Enter tainment Screen Buttons The f ollowing b uttons appear on the F older screens. Buttons Description T ap to retur n to the T op Menu. T ap to displa y the enter tainment interf ere. T ap to scroll up the f older list or fi le list. T ap to scroll down the f older list or fi le list.
14 P airing the Player with Y our Mobile Phone The pla yer is also a Bluetooth de vice. Bef ore you can connect it to y our mobile phone with Bluetooth, you need to pair them. Press the button on the panel or tap on the T op Menu to enter Bluetooth mode.
15 T o Accept or Reject a Call When there is an incoming call in Bluetooth mode, the screen will displa y . When there is an incoming call in navigation mode, the screen will displa y . T ap to accept the call or tap to reject the call. Sometimes, the dialled n umber from your mobile phone or caller number will not be displa yed.
16 Call W aiting Call Call waiting lets y ou know someone else is trying to call you, b y displaying “Call W aiting... ” while you are on a call. When there is a call waiting call in Bluetooth mode, the screen will displa y . When there is a call waiting call in na vigation mode, the screen will displa y .
17 Handsfree Screen Buttons The f ollowing b uttons appear on the Handsfree screen. Buttons Description T ap to tur n the Bluetooth on or off . T ap to make the pla yer discov erable . T ap to displa y the call record. T ap to scroll up the call list.
