4 Safety Precautions Do not to uch the st ainles s body of the Power Ket tle or th e lid while o r imme diately af ter boili ng water as this m a y cau se burn inj uries. Do not subject the Power Kettle to strong impact. This may result in damage, malfunction or shorten service life.
5 Safety Precautions Only u se AC 1 20V outlets. Failure to do so may c ause fi res or ele ctr ic shock. Please periodically remove dust and other particles from the power plug. Build up of dust on the plug may result in insulation failure from moisture and other elements and may cause a fire.
6 Safety Precautions Do not overfill the Power Kettle beyond the MAX level (0.8L). Overfilling may result in boiling over and cause burns. Do not use the Power Kettle if the water is below the minimum level (0.15L). The automatic Boil-dry Protection and Automatic Power Of f feature may not function properly .

The Dr y- boil Protec tion feature w ill cut th e power of f but the meta l plate will be h eated and may c ause burns o r malfunc tions. Cau tion Do not open the lid while boiling water as it may lead to failure of the Automatic Power Off function.

10 - Storing t he P ower Pla te - The Power Cord may be stored inside the Power Plate. Wind the Power Cord around th e bottom of the Power Plate three times and set the end of the c ord in the c utout. Secure t he cord f irmly in th e cutout when in use and / or in storage.
