20 Connecting to an Antenna or Cable TV 1 Connect one end of the UHF or CA TV cable to the ANT Jack (VHF/UHF IN Jack) on the back o f the TV . 2 Connect the other en d of the VHF/ UHF (Antenna) or CA TV cable to the antenna socket or CA TV cable.
21 Connecting to A V Devices Connect external devices such as a VCR, VCD or DVD playe r , or video game to the TV using the 4-IN-1 cable. Connecting to a V CR/VCD/DVD Player The illustration presented here shows how to connect the TV to a VCR, VCD, or DVD player .
22 Connecting to a Video Camera The instructions presented here are a general guide to connecting the TV to a camcorder or other type of digita l camera. 23 Connecting to a Game Device The instructions presented here are a general guide to connecting the TV to a game device using t he RCA Jacks provided (some game devices may require a unique ada pter that is not provided). Actual connections may vary according to the make and model of the game device.
24 Connecting Exter nal Speak er s or Headphones External speakers or head phones may be used to listen to the TV rather than using the built-in speakers. Connect extern al speakers or headphones to the headphone line out port as illust rated. Notes • External speakers or headphones are not included with the product.
25 Connecting the P owe r Adapter 1 Connect the power cord to the power adapter as illustrated. 2 Plug the power adapter connector in to the DC-IN input jack on the rear panel of the TV . 3 Insert the three-pronged plug at the other end of the power cord into a powe r outlet.
26 Using the Remote Co ntrol For best results, use the remote co ntrol within a dist ance of 5 meters from the front of the TV’ s signal sensor . Do not exceed an an gle of 30 degrees when pointing at the signa l sensor . Refer to the following illustration.
27 T ur ning the TV On and Of f 1 Press the POWER button on the control p anel (or remote control). The power LED changes from dark to green, indicating that the power has been turned on. 2 Press the POWER button again; the power LED changes fr om green to dark, indicating that the TV is in off mode.
28 Switching Source Signals Press SOURCE on the control panel to select the incoming source signal. The current source setting (TV/CA TV , S-Video, or A V) appears on the top lef t corner of the screen. Note The TV supports S-V id eo input in addition to normal vid eo and audio signals.

34 Saturation 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to selec t Saturation. 2 Press MENU to enter the Saturation menu. 3 Press the CH UP button to increase the saturation. The screen image becomes more vibrant. 4 Press the CH DOWN button to decrease the saturation.
35 Sharpness 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to select Sharpness. 2 Press MENU to enter the Sharpness menu. 3 Press the CH UP button to increase the sharpness. 4 Press the CH DOWN button to decrease the sharpn ess. 5 Press MENU again to confirm the setting and return to the Video Setting menu .
36 Color T emperature 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to select Color . 2 Press MENU to enter the Color menu. The following three color temperatures are available. St andard Color P r es s the CH UP button or CH DOWN b ut t o n to select S tandard, then press MENU .
37 Audio Setting Press the MENU butt on to enter the OSD menus. 1 Press the CH UP button or CH DOWN button to select Audio Setting. 2 Press MENU t o enter the Audio Setting menu.

44 Auto Program 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to select Auto Program. 2 Press MENU to enter the Auto Program menu. 3 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to select Y es or No . 4 Press MENU . The screen goes blank and the chan- nel indicator values range from 2 to 69 (antenna connection) or from 1 to 125 (CA TV cable connection).
45 Manual Program This function allows you to locate cha nnels for adding to or erasing from preset channels. 1 Press the CH UP button or CH DOWN button to select Manual Pro- gram. 2 Press MENU to enter the Manual Program menu. 3 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to find the channel you want to add.

50 Sleep Timer The sleep timer turns the TV of f automatically after a set period of time. 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to select Sleep.
51 OSD Display This setting allows you to set whether info rmation such as the selected channel is shown on the T V screen when the DISPLA Y button is pressed. 1 Press the CH UP bu tton or CH DOWN button to selec t OSD Display . 2 Press MENU to enter the OSD Display menu.
52 Reset The Reset function returns all of your TV’ s user settings to their fac- tory defaults. Wa r n i n g : The reset fun ction will erase all of your custom and favorite channel settings, and will reset all displa y settings (such as contrast, brightness, etc.
53 Care and Maintenance of the TV T urn the power off before you begin cleaning the TV. For best results, use a clean lens cloth to remove dust and fingerprint s from the screen. Do not wipe the shell of the TV with alcohol, methanol, gasoline or oil products to avoid damaging the finish.
