3 Attach the assembled ergonomic pole to the main body by aligning the ridge in the pole to the ridge in the base, as well as aligning the hole in the pole base with the Locking Pin. Push the Locking Pin in, and slide the pole down until the pin clicks into place and secures the pole.

Care & Maintenance (cont) Mineral Deposits: One problem with a steamer appliance is the mineral deposits caused by the high miner al content in many municipal water supplies . Mineral residue inside of the unit’ s internal pipes and heater can cause intermittent steaming or , in some cases, no steam at all.
Helpful HAAN ® Hints Be sure to alw ays pick up or sw eep up large debris lik e cra yons, marbles , dog biscuits and any other lar ge, har d objects before using the Duo™ . T roubleshooting (cont) PROBLEM: W ater is leaking from the Duo ™ . Possible Cause: 1) Y our unit’s W ater T ank is overfilled. Possible Solution: 1 ) The fill line on the Fill Cup should indicate the proper amount of water needed for the tank, but y ou may want to try putting a little less w ater in the tank.
