TENON MATERIAL SELECTION. Select clean tenon locations that are low in mois - ture content, and use workpieces that are free of knots, staples, nails, and imbedded stones.

Rotate the micro-adjustment knob until the major adjustment sleeve extends 1 1 ⁄ 2 " out of the jig, or approximately halfway between the knob and the side of the jig (see Figure 12 ). Note: The major adjustment sleeve allows for quick adjustment of the jig positioning.

H7 58 3 T enoning Jig - 1 5 - 2. Plane a wood base stop to the thickness of the tenoning jig base, and mount it to the front of the table saw as shown in Figure 17 . The base stop prevents cut off pieces getting trapped between the saw blade and the work support plate.
