Model G 06 39 22- T on Hydraulic Log Split ter - 1 1 - A ssemb ly To assemble the log splitter: 1. Wipe a dab of multipurpose grease onto the spindle and wheel bushing, and with the valve stem facing outward, slide the wheel onto the axle until it stops.
- 1 2- Model G06 39 22- T on Hydraulic Log S plitter 14 . Lock the beam in place in the horizontal posi- tion with the spring loaded lock pin shown in Figure 11 . 12 . Using a mechanical lifting device that can support at least 1000 lbs., lift the cylinder and beam assembly and secure it in the hinge with the hinge pin.

Model G 06 39 22- T on Hydraulic Log Split ter - 1 7 - Con trol V alv e When the engine is running and the control valve lever is in the neutral position ( Figure 20 ), the hydraulic pump delivers hydraulic fluid at 8 GPM through the control valve and back into the hy- draulic tank.

Closely inspect all components and hydraulic lines for any evidence of damage, wear, or unsafe conditions; and correct before proceeding any further.

Ignoring this warning can lead to hydraulic fluid poisoning, which is a serious and potentially fatal injury.
