2 Introduction Thank you for choosing this Karaoke System with iP od Docking Station. Not only can you and your friends sing along to all your favourite songs, you can also listen to your tracks on your iPod. It ’s really simple to use: you can fully operate both the Karaok e System and the iPod using the Remote Control.

7 02 Getting started Using the remote control The Remote Control can be used to operate the Karaok e System. Before using the Remote Control, the Safety T ab should be removed.
8 02 Getting started Connecting to external devices The Karaok e System can be connected to either the TV or a Stereo Sound System using the supplied RCA Cables. T o connect the Karaoke System to a TV only , follow the instructions provided in the Quick Start Guide.
9 02 Getting started Setting up the Karaoke System Plug the Microphone Jack into the MIC 1 Socket on the front of the Karaok e System. Connect the Karaok e System to your TV using the Supplied RCA Cables. T urn your TV On and select the AV source. Connect the Power Cable to the P ower Socket on the rear of the K araoke System.
10 03 Daily use Switching ON T o turn the Karaoke System On, press the ST ANDBY button. T o turn the Karaoke System Off , press the ST ANDBY button again.
11 03 Mixing the Backing T rack and Vo c a l s DON’T FORGET! This feature is only available when the MUSIC/ KARAOKE DIAL is set to K araoke (vocals). The bias or mix between the backing track and your vocals can be adjusted using the Auto V olume Control (AVC).
12 04 12 CD+G playback Playing CD+G discs Loading discs Press the ST ANDBY button to turn on the Karaok e System. Press the top right hand corner of the Disc T ray to open. Insert the CD+G Disc into the CD Compartment with the label facing outwards. Close the Disc T ray .
13 04 Press the PROG button. The P rog indicator will begin to flash and the number 1 will momentarily appear on the LED Display . This indicates that you can programme the first track. Select the first track using the I and I buttons. Press the PROG button on the Karaok e System.
14 05 Using your iP od iPod docking Any iPods listed below can be connected to the Karaok e System allowing all your favourite songs to be played through the Karaok e Systems speakers. The iP od can be completely controlled by the Karaok e System and charges while docked.
15 05 Using your iP od Using your iPod The following instructions describe how to operate your iPod when it is connected to the Karaok e System using the Remote Control. DON’T FORGET! The following features only work in iPod mode with an iPod dock ed.
16 05 Repeat play Y ou can repeat a single T rack, Album or Playlist or all the tracks on your iPod. Repeating a single track T o repeat a single track, press the REPEA T button once. The Repeat Once symbol will appear on your iPod display . The track will be played continuously .

19 06 iPod Problem Possible Cause What to do The iPod is unstable in the Dock. 1. The iP od Model Switch is set to the incorrect setting. 1. Select the correct setting using the iPod Model Switch. iPod does not respond to inputs from the Karaok e System.

23 09 Electrical information 2- Core plug This symbol indicates that this 2-core appliance is Class II and does not require an earth connection. The wire coloured blue must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire coloured brown must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured red.
24 10 The Karaok e System is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of original purchase. If any defect due to faulty materials or workmanship, contact the Goodmans Helpline.
