3 3. Menu Functions This section of the manual d escribes each function of each menu in d etail. Each paragra ph r epresents a given me n u. On the left, an image shows all items that can appear in that menu, while o n the right an item by item description is given, in the same order as shown at the scree n.
4 Main window image settings Backlight Adjust the intensity of the backlight of the display . This is automatically adjuste d by radar/ECDIS. LED level Adjust the intensity of the LED on t he front p anel. Brightness Make the picture brighter or darker .
5 General monitor settings Freeze frame This function, when activated, freezes the im age on the screen, disregar ding the input signal until deactivated. Source information This setting allows the user to disable the sou r ce information that appears on the u pper left hand corner each time a sour ce is d etected or Input key is pressed.
6 Keypad lock Set whether the keyp ad is locked or not. When locked, the keyp ad does not answer to user commands, unless the LOCK key is pressed together with a desired key . If the monitor is connected to radar/ECDIS with an RS-2 32C cable, Off returns to O n after turning the power off and then on.
7 Inpu t selection Source Choose the input sourc e for the main screen. As soon as a change is made here, the corresponding input will be selected and activated for dis play on the main screen. T o change the active source for the PIP windo w , use the PIP menu.
8 Main screen acquisition settings This menu is available wh en PIP is set to ON. (See next p age.) Mode selection Choose a memory slot in wh ich to store display p ar ameters for a given input signal.
