11 ◆ About the batteries ◆ h Never use the following types of battery, as this could cause serious problems such as battery fluid leakage or overheating: 1. Batteries with split or peeling outer casings 2. Combinations of different types of batteries or new and used batteries together h Do not use lithium, manganese or Ni-Cd batteries.
12 13 ◆ AA-size Ni-MH batteries ◆ h When used as a power source for a digital camera, AA-size Ni-MH batteries are superior to alkaline batteries in that they allow more shots to be taken. However, to retain the original performance characteristics of Ni-MH batteries, care must be taken in the way they are used.
