7 Multiple Oven Racks Multiple Oven Racks Single Oven Rack 27” Model 30” Model Single Oven Rack BEFORE SETTING OVEN CONTROLS Oven Vent Location The oven is vented at the center trim . When the oven is on, w arm air is released through the vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results.
8 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS Control Pad Features READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE OVEN. For satisfactory use of your oven, become familiar with the various features and functions of the ov en as described below . Detailed instructions for each feature and function follow later in this Use & Care Guide.
9 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Both ovens will be changed at the same time. NOTE If “ F ” appears, the display is set to show temper atures in F ahrenheit.
10 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS Setting Oven Lockout Feature The Clear off pad controls the Oven Lockout f eature. The Oven Lockout f eature automatically locks the oven doors and prevents the ov en from being turned on. It does not disable the clock, Kitchen Timer or the interior oven lights.
11 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Baking time can be set for any amount of time between 1 minute to 11 hours and 59 minutes. NOTE If your clock is set for normal 12 hour displa y mode the Delayed .
12 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS Setting the Keep Warm Feature The Keep Warm pad turns ON the K eep Warm feature and will m aintain an o ven temperat ure o f 170° F (77°C ). The K eep W arm feature will keep oven baked foods warm for serving up to 3 hours after cooking has nished.
13 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS To Set the Sabbath Feature (for use on the Jewish Sabbath & Holidays) The Bake time and Start time pads are used to set the Sabbath feature.
14 What to Expect during Cleaning Wh i le th e ov en is in op er ati o n, th e ov en hea t s to tem pe ra tu r es much higher than those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are normal. Odor is also normal as the food soil is being removed.
15 NOTE ● The oven temperature adjustments made wi th this featur e will not change the Self -Clean cycle temperatu re or the Broil temperature. ● Each oven may be adjusted individually . 17 CARE & CLEANING CAUTION The door is heavy . For safe, tempor ary storage, lay the door at with the inside of the door facing down. Removing and replacing the lift-off oven door To Remove Oven Door: 1. Open oven door completely (horizontal with oor - See Figure 1).
18 BEFORE YOU CALL Oven Baking For best cooking results, heat the ov en before baking cookies, breads, cakes, pies or pastries, etc. There is no need to preheat the oven for roasting meat or baking casseroles. The cooking times and temperatur es needed to bake a product may v ary slightly from your previously owned appliance.
