4 Hotplat e Burners The drawing belo w each k nob indicates which burner that knob controls. There is a spark ignition system that w orks when the k nob is pressed in. Each burner also has a special safety device that stops the flo w of gas if the flame goes out.
5 W ok C entre Ring The W ok ring is designed fit the centre burner . It will not fit any of the other burner pan supports It should be located so that the cut-outs in the ring sit directly on the projecting burner suppor ts. W oks var y very widely in size and shape.

9 The Multi-function oven has man y varied uses. We suggest you keep a car eful eye on your cooking until you ar e familiar with each function. Remember - not all func tions will be suitable for all f ood types.
10 This function uses the element in the top of the ov en only . I t is a useful function for the br owning or finishing of pasta dishes, vegetables in sauce and lasagne , the item to be browned being alr eady hot before switching t o the top element.

14 Cleaning y our cook er Before thor ough cleaning, isolate fr om the electricit y supply . Remember to switch on the electricit y supply befor e use. Never use paint solvents , washing soda, caustic cleaners, biologic al powders, bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abrasives or salt .
15 F or safety , push the side rails into the grill chamber . The side rails can be remo ved to make cleaning the grill chamber easier by unhooking them from the grill chamber sides . Slides can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. use any abrasive substanc e.
16 Don ’t use steel wool (or an y other materials that will scratch the surface). Don ’t use oven cleaning pads. T o clean the oven sides slide out the shelves, unhook the suppor ts from the ov en sides and lift out.
17 T roubleshooting When cooking foods with a high water content (e .g. ov en chips) there may be some steam visible at the rear g rille. T ake care when opening the oven door , as there may be a momentary puff of steam when the oven door is opened.
18 General Safety Instruc tions The hotplate must be installed b y a G as Safe register ed engineer . The installation must be carried out by a Competent P erson.
19 Do not use water on gr ease fires. Never pick up a flaming pan. T ur n the controls off . Smother a flaming pan on a sur face unit by cov ering the pan completely with a well fitting lid or baking tray . If available use a multipurpose dr y chemical or foam-type fire extinguisher .
20 Installation Before y ou star t your installation, please complete the details BEL OW . If your customer has a problem r elating to your installation they will be able to contact you easily .

22 Do not take any pack aging off the cooker until it is directly in front of the place it is to be installed (unless it will not fit through a door in its outer pack aging). Remove plastic c oating from hotplate before use.
23 If the appliance is to be conv er ted to LP gas do the conv ersion at this point. See the conversion section of these instructions. Y ou are recommended to use a spirit lev el on a shelf in one of the ovens to check for lev el.
24 Connect the pressure gauge. T urn on and light one of the hotplate burners. For Natur al Gas the pressure should be 20mbar . For P ropane the pressure should be 37mbar .
