One bobby pin, metal or plastic toy , nail or sharp object in a load can catc h laundry and cause tears.

Before washing, treat speci al stains with bar soap, liquid detergent or a paste of water and granular detergent.

Synthetic Fiber Knits Knits made from synth etic fibers or blends containing a high percentage of synt hetics will generally keep their shape.

Launder in h ot water with chlorine bleach (if safe for fabric). If the color of the fabric ha s changed, sponging the area with ammonia may restore the color .
