Page 2 R-3451 Introduction Always consult your local Building Department regarding regulations, codes or ordinances which apply to the installation of an unvented room heater. This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket* permanently located, manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by state or local codes.
Page 3 R-3451 Some people cannot smell well. Some people cannot smell the odor of the chemical stench put into the gas. You must find out if you can smell the odorant in propane. Smoking can decrease your ability to smell. Being around an odor for a time can affect your sensitivity or ability to detect that odor.
Page 4 R-3451 Provisions for Adequate Combustion and Ventilation Air This heater shall not be installed in a confined space or unusually tight construction unless provisions are provided for adequate combustion and ventilation air. The National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.

The retaining tabs should be positioned downward, from the casing front, top to the casing front, bottom. 11. Page 9 R-3451 3. Place the casing top on a non-abrasive surface in order to protect the porcelain finish. The exterior of the casing top should be facing the non-abrasive surface. 4. Page 20 R-3451 Cleaning The blower wheel will collect lint and could require cleaning once a year. If the air output decreases or the noise level increases, it indicates a dirty wheel. Blower Motor The blower motor does not have oiling holes. Do not attempt to oil blower motor.
