Page 4 16934-3-0806 Some people cannot smell well. Some people cannot smell the odor of the chemical put into the gas. Y ou must find out if you can smell the odorant in propane. Smoking can decrease your ability to smell. Being around an odor for a time can affect your sensitivity or ability to detect that odor .

Page 6 16934-3-0806 GENERAL INFORMA TION W A TER V APOR: A BY -PRODUCT OF UNVENTED ROOM HEA TERS W ater vapor is a by-product of gas combustion. An unvented room heater produces approximately one (1) ounce (30ml) of water for every 1,000 BTU’ s (.3KW’ s) of gas input per hour .

Page 10 16934-3-0806 SET -UP INSTRUCTIONS Attention: T wo people are required to assemble indoor chimenea. 1. Remove packing material from top of box. 2. Lift stack casting section out and set aside. 3. Remove remaining items and packing from inside body casting.
Page 1 1 16934-3-0806 PLACEMENT OF GLOWING EMBERS AND LA V A ROCK Placement of the glowing embers (rock wool) is very individual and light coverage of the areas indicated will provide your best effects. W e recommend separation of the rock wool by hand and make your coverage as light and fluffy as possible.
Page 12 16934-3-0806 Flames from the pilot (rear right back side of the pan burner) as well as the main flame should be visually checked as the log set is installed. In normal operation at full rate after 10 to 15 minutes, the flame appearance should be sets of yellow flames.

Page 14 16934-3-0806 Figure 7 shows a correct pilot flame pattern. The correct flame will be blue and will extend beyond the thermocouple. The flame will surround the thermocouple just below the tip. A slight yellow flame may occur where the pilot flame and main burner flame meet.
Page 15 16934-3-0806 Annual inspection and cleaning by your dealer or qualified service technician is recommended to prevent malfunction and/or sooting. TURN OFF HEA TER AND ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE CLEANING. Remove logs, handling carefully by holding gently at each end.
Page 16 16934-3-0806 WIRING Label all wires prior to disconnec tion when servicing controls . W iring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation. V erify proper operation after servicing. Control Panel Installation 1. Disco nnect black and green wire from TH/ TP and TH terminal on valve.
Page 17 16934-3-0806 If the gas quality is bad, your pilot may not stay lit, the burners may produce soot and the heater may backfire when lit. If the gas quality or pressure is low , contact your local gas supplier immediately . 1. When ignitor button is pressed, there is no spark at ODS/ pilot.
