26 Information on D VD r ecor ding Recording Information This D VD recorder can r ecord to D VD-R and D VD-R W discs. When recor ding, you will need to select a recor ding format betw een Video mode and VR mode depending on the disc format. The disc fo rmat for D VD-R is alwa ys “Video format, ” so a r ecor ding format will be “Video mode”.
27 Recording Information on cop y control Some satellite broadcasts include cop y-protected information. For recor ding these, refer to the fol- lowing.
Settings for the r ecor ding format to a blank disc 28 Fo rmatting a disc Recording When inserting a blank disc , the D VD recorder starts to initialize the blank disc. After that, Y ou can record to the disc with the recor ding format selected in SETUP menu.
