11.02 Part 1 Impor tant User Information 1.1 General notes • This compressed air-dr yer is called CA-dryer in the follo wing. • The Company does not accept responsibility if saf ety regulations are not met dur ing handling, operation, maintenance and repair , e ven though these are not str ictly stated in these operating instr uctions.
11.02 ! ! P art 1 Important user Information Attention! The operator has to obser v e the national wor king-, op- er ating- and safety regulations . Also e xisting inter nal fac- tor y regulations must be met.
11.02 • W ear ey e protection and protectiv e glov es • A void contact of liquid refrigerants with your skin (frost- bite). • Do not inhale refrigerant vapours. • T o avoid higher concentrations , all wor k rooms must be ventilated v ery well.
11.02 ! P ar t 1 Important user Information • T ak e victim immediately into the fresh air or into a v er y well ventilated room. • Splashes of refr igerant in the e y es must be blo wn out with the mouth. Then r inse ey es with plenty of water .
11.02 2.1 T ranspor tation 2.2 Requirements on the place of in- stallation 2.3 Installation (mount ing) Fig. 1: Installation of CA-drye r Par t 2 Installation T ranspor tation has to be carried out in the nor mal oper- ating position of the CA-dr ye r .
11.02 The cooling air f or the refriger ant condenser will be suck ed in at the front panel (fig. 5/3). This area must be kept free and not be obstructed. If necessar y , sufficient cooling air supply must be pro- vided by additional w all openings .
11.02 Attention! A hose must be fix ed at the condensate drain and led out of the casing. An opening (Fig. 5/7) can be used for leading out the hose . F or saf ety reasons the side wall m ust be closed again. The CA-dr yer separates w ater as well as oil from the compressed air .
11.02 2.6.3 Connection conden- sate draining Fig. 4: Connection conden- sate draining The condensate drain pipe (fig. 2.1) may be fix ed to the w all with a rising slope of maximum 5 m. Thereby the minimum operation pressure increases f or 0,1 bar per meter .

11.02 The nominal power of the CA-dryer mentioned in the technical data is related to a wo r king pressure of 7 bar , a compressed air inlet temperature of 35 °C as well as an ambient temperature of 25 °C acc.
11.02 The refrigerant is injected into the refrigerant-to-air heat exchanger where it e v aporates, thereb y the compressed air is cooled. The electronic regulator regulates the cool- ing temperature and keeps the pressure de w point con- stant in nearly all capacity stages.
