6 Ice making Fill the ice tray with water to the top of each ice cube compartment, and place it in the freezer compartment. T o release the ice cubes, twist the tray along its length.
7 HINTS AND TIPS Normal Operating Sounds ¥ Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/evaporator . ¥ When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round, and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .
8 Defrosting The freezer compartment will become progressively covered with frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 1/4Ó. During this operation it is not necessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
9 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before any maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal cleaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).

16 INST ALLA TION Positioning This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures between 10¡C (50¡F) and 32¡C (90¡F). It should be located in a dry atmosphere, out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature e.g. not next to a boiler or radiator , or in a very cold room e.

19 Press in the joint covers between the appliance and the kitchen unit. Apply covers (B) on joint cover lugs and into hinge holes. Position the runners (A) at the top and bottom of the inside of the kitchen unit as shown in the diagram and mark the position of the external holes.
