Installation Installation Location The appliance should be set up in a w ell v entilated, dry room. Ener gy use and efficient perf ormance o f the appliance is affected b y the ambient temperatur e .
Installation 9 Y our R efri g erator Needs Air F or correct operation this appliance must be located in a dry atmosphere , away f r o m heat sources , e.g. cook ers , radiator s , boilers and dir ect sunlight. Y ou should also ensure that air can circulate fr eely around the back and the top o f the cabinet.

13 Usin g the Appliance Startin g y our appliance and temperatur e contr ol 1. Insert the plug into the w all sock et. 2. Press the ON/OFF button. The gr een control li ght is on. 3. Press the "+" (3) or "-" (5) button. The temper ature displa y switches to sho wing the set temperatur e .
14 If the adjustment is stopped and neither button is pressed, the temper ature displa y will switch back to its original function and sho w the actual temperatur e after a short while (about 5 seconds). The appropriate stor ag e temperatur e o f f ood and drink is +5°C.

18 What to do if ... Corr ecting Malfunctions A malfunction ma y be caused b y only a minor f ault that y ou can r ectify y ourself using the f ollo wing instructions . Do not perf orm an y other w ork on the appliance if the f ollo wing inf ormation does not pro vide assistance in y our specific case .

20 Chan ging the Li ght Bulb Should the light f ail to w ork y ou can chang e it as belo w: Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply . R emo ve the lamp co v er retainin g s c r ews, then take the lamp co ver o ff in the direction o f the arro w and the bulb can be chang ed.
21 T echnical T erminology R efrig erant Liquids that can be used to gener ate a cooling effect ar e kno wn as refri ger ants . The y ha v e a relativ ely lo w boiling-point, indeed so lo w , that the w armth from the f ood stored in the frid ge or fr eezer can cause the refri ger ant to boil and v aporise .
