Operating Instructions Important safety information In the interest of your saf ety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, includi ng its hints and warnings.
• Items that have been soiled with substa nces such as co oking oil acetone, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, w axes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
• After having installed the a ppliance, check that it is no t pressing or st anding on its electrical supply cable. • If the tumble dryer is placed on top of a washing machine, it is compulsory to use the stacking kit (option al accessory). Use • This appliance is designed for domestic use.

Daily use Switching machine on / switching light on Turn the programme selector to any prog ramme or turn it to DRUM LIGHT. The machine has been switched on. When th e loading door is opened, the drum is illuminated. Opening loading door / loading laundry 1.
Setting dryness level If laundry comes out of the machine too damp after a standard drying programme, you can increase the drying result by using the DRYNESS function. Laundry becomes dri - er as you move from MIN to MAX . Press the DRYNESS button repeatedly until the desired dryness level ( MIN , MED or MAX ) is shown in the display.
2. To set the option press OPTION button. You will see available options shown as icons on the screen: DELICATE LONG ANTI- CREASE SENSITIVE BUZZER DELICATE icon flashes. Flashing icon means: selected but not active. To ac - tivate selected OPTION press OK button.
LONG ANTI-C REASE A long anti-crease phas e lengthen the anti- crease phase (30 min.) at the end of the drying additionally by 60 minu tes. The drum rotates at intervals during thi s phase. This keeps th e laundry loose and free of crease s. Phase lasts in total 90 minutes.

Care and cleaning Cleaning fluff filter The filters collect all the fluff which accumulate s during drying. To ensure th at the dryer works perfectly, the fluff filters (micro-fine filter and fine strainer) must be cleaned after every drying cycle. The warning icon is on to remind you this oper ation.
4. Push down unloc k button on large mesh filter. Large mesh filter jumps up. 5. Take out f ine straine r. 6. Remove fluff from fine strainer. It is best to use a damp hand for this purpose.
11. Press against the large mesh filter until it locks into the interlock. If the fine strainer is not fitted, the large mesh filter will not snap into place and the loading door cannot be closed. Cleaning the door seal Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth i mmediately aft er the drying cycle has fin - ished.

Clean operating screen and housing CAUTION! Do not use furniture cleaners or aggressi ve cleaning agents to clean the machine. Use a damp cloth to wipe down th e operating screen and housing.
What to do if ... Troubleshooting by yourself If, during operatio n, the error code E... plus number or letter) appears on the LCD: Switch the machine off and on again. Reset programme. Press the START PAUSE button. If the error is still displayed, pl ease inform your local Service Forc e Centre and quote the error code.

Packaging material The packaging materials are environmenta lly friendly a nd can be recycl ed. The plastic components are identi fied by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the packaging materials in the appropriate contai ner at the community waste disposal facilities.
Service In the event of technical faults, please first check whether you can remedy the problem yourself with the help of the operating instructions (Chapter “Wh at to do if…”). If you were not able to remedy the prob lem yourself, please contact your local service centre.
