5 Daily Oper ation • Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temper atures. There is a risk of an explosion! Do not stor e any containers with flamma- ble materials such as, spray cans, fir e extinguisher refill cartridges etc in the refriger ator/freezer .
6 Remove tr ansport packaging The appliance and the interior fittings ar e protected for tr ansport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces fr om the interior of the appliance. Disposal of old Appliances For environmental r easons, refrigeration appliances must be disposed of properly .
7 Oper ating and indicator panel A. Light ON/OFF B . Button ON/OFF ON: Press the button (B). The pilot light (A) switches on. OFF: Keep button (B) pr essed until the pilot light (A) and the temperatur e display switches off. C - E. T emperatur e setting buttons The temperatur e can be adjusted between -15°C and -24°C.
8 Attention! During the stability period by the first starting the temper ature displayed can not correspond to the setting temper ature. During this time it is possi- ble that the temperatur e displayed is lower than the setting temperatur e.
9 H Alarm light I Alarm r eset button In the event of an abnormal temperatur e rise inside the freezer (e.g. after a power cut) warning light (H) will start to flash and a buzzer will sound. After the temperatur e has returned to normal, the warning light (H) will continue to flash, although the buzzer has stopped.
Fr eezing and storing fr ozen food Y ou can use your freezer for freezing fr esh food yourself. • The temperatur e in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder before fr eezing food. • Please observe the freezing capacity given on the r ating plate.
